  1. Because then Milwaukee would get more home games early and that would mean Selig had a hand in this and the world of baseball is going to end because of this.
  2. 85 wins and 2nd in the NL Central no playoffs and no major trades.
  3. Yes through an MLB.TV subscription and also no if you are trying to watch a team in your home market.
  4. Someone is going to need a day off here and there. I think the daily starting OF will be Chourio/Mitchell in CF with Yelich in LF and Frelick/Chourio in RF. Then when Yelich is the DH Chourio, Mitchell and Frelick will be starting in the OF which is about 50 games. You only need to find about another 100 games for the other part of the equation. So lets go conservative here and say Frelick gets about 30 games at 3B that means you only need about another 70 games from him to play in the OF to get to 150 games and the same for Chourio and Mitchell. Chourio and Mitchell will probably get one or two games at DH also. Lets say that is just one game for each at DH. It is not that difficult to get to 150 games played for Chourio, Frelick and Mitchell. I think Mitchell gets about 3 games a week starting in the OF and 1 game where he is used as a pinch hitter. Also games are not really all that important it is PA's that are far more important and I believe there are plenty of PA's to go around for Chourio, Frelick and Mitchell to get about 450 PA's each which is about 140-150 games played.
  5. With the new rules the Nationals can’t do this as they are not in the competitive balance group. The Nationals will be able to pick in the top five for next year’s draft but won’t be able to pick in the top 6 again until the 2027 draft. Revenue sharing teams can’t draft in the top six in back to back seasons.
  6. Gonzaga absolutely destroyed Kansas in the second half. What was a very competitive game in the first half became an absolute beat down in the second.
  7. You do know crypto falls under those same anti-money laundering laws? Incorrect a fiat can disappear tomorrow and all you will have is a coin or a piece of paper having very little to no value. There is no law or regulation on fiat currencies. For example if the US government decided to change the currency tomorrow and make the money you have worth nothing there is nothing you could do about it. You would just have to go with it and start over. Or the government could go with a stupid monetary policy and cause hyperinflation. A countries fiat isn’t even tied to anything unless you are talking about the gold standard which no longer exists. The US dollar is tied to nothing. Nothing is backing up these fiats and they can be removed with zero consequences.
  8. This is just a clinic on what not to do offensively.
  9. You basically just described all fiat money. Everything has scams. I am not sure what your point is at all it is just blabbering nonsense. Crypto doesn’t need to have a product. Fiat doesn’t have a product. There have also been busts prior to the cracking. It is actually far far far easier to track down a criminal organization using crypto than it is if it is using cash.
  10. Regardless what the refs are or are not doing the offense is being a bit lazy on some of these passes. Offensively this team is not executing at all.
  11. Your point being? Cash is still king for criminal organizations. It is far easier to hide cash than it is to hide crypto. Actually it is far easier to launder cash than it is to do it with crypto. Crypto not being regulated is actually a good thing there is far less corruption because of the deregulation. The more you regulate something the higher it becomes corrupt if your argument is it will be used for criminal purposes then why are you using dollars? It is actually not hard to track crypto there is an actual audit trail of every single crypto transaction. For cash there is no such thing. Crypto is actually far better than cash and tracking criminal organizations. You should really stop listening to the main stream media on crypto it is like listening to conspiracy theorists. Incorrect. With the rate increases it should have lowered housing because there would be less demand, less people who are able to get a loan will create a decrease in demand. The problem with the rate increases in terms of housing is that it did nothing for the supply. Demand still outpaced supply even with the rate increases. The federal reserve can't control housing supply and it should not. It controls the interest rate and that is all it should control and no more. Local governments and HOA's are the problem with the supply. Antiquated regulations by the local governments and the HOA overly complex and over bearing rules have also killed supply. Another issue with supply has been companies like BlackRock buying up properties for its investors (pension plans, 401k's etc.) are also another issue. This will create a bubble and I hope it takes down BlackRock and other companies like it but then they will be bailed out because gasp we can't let them fail because the pensions! The idiots need to learn a lesson and find out tax payers are not your safety net. If this causes teacher unions or government pensions to default then they default. These pensions should have mitigated their risks just like everyone else if they fail so sad to bad.
  12. The illegal what now? Do you even know what you are talking about? Let me guess you don't understand it therefore it is illegal got it. Pensions have been gobbling up housing like a monster with BlackRock. If BlackRock fails I have no problem with the teacher and government pensions going down the drain with them. They made their bed with them let them sleep in it.
  13. One thing I haven't seen talked about is the realtor commission piece. This is good for buyers and sellers but this is really good for investors more. I don't think I like the way this is going to end for the actual consumers. This may hurt the home buyers more than it will help. I could see prices going up even more with investors buying up even more properties than they have been recently. This could cause another housing crash and I hope all of these investment companies do not get bailed out at all. If a teachers union or government union pension fails because of this I am fine with that let it fail they shouldn't have invested with these companies that have been putting them at a high risk of default.
  14. Williams or whoever the Bears draft at #1 will be walking into a very decent team. He will have three options to throw to in Moore, Allen and Kmet. When has a rookie ever had something like that happen? It is very rare for a #1 pick to step in and have a three good receiving options and you can even throw in Swift as a fourth option. The Bears could also draft someone like Nabers or Odunze. That would give Williams 5 possible options with three of them being WR's. The next Bears QB is going to be stepping into a nice spot with all of the options they will have. It may not be a winning season year 1 but year 2 and beyond should be good.
  15. I think an extra 4 play in games would be ok if they were for the 16th seed. Play 1 game for the 17-18 teams and then another for the 16th seed. I think that would be more fun. All of the 17-18 seeds would have to be from minor conferences. I think that would make it more interesting.
  16. Tempe is a pain to get out of after 4pm. Heavy traffic on the 101, 202 and 10 around that time. Anytime before that and you should be fine. I would go with the Giants or the Mariners. The Angels spring training facility is the worst. Also this weekend is the air show at Luke Air Force base. https://www.luke.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/3694649/luke-days-2024-airshow-need-to-know-info/
  17. Is it? The majority of the players are going to be on the low end of the salary ranges. While still a lot of money you still need to have at least an average financial understanding. Majority are well below average in financial knowledge. There is also the culture where everyone is super competitive and if player a has x car then player b is going to try and get a better y car. These are not your basic Ford, Toyota or Chevy’s. These vehicles are in the $100k’s. Then take into account all the other things they will buy and the vacations they will go on. Don’t forget the personal trainers and the clubs and the parties and the clothes. Yeah I can see how that can be higher than 50%. This is also not taking into consideration someone giving money to a family member to start a business or to buy a house.
  18. Correct.
  19. I add macaroni noodles and nacho cheese sauce. It is the best way to eat chili!
  20. Right both should have been no calls. The contact didn't completely impact the shot on either. I think both were just regular contact and should have been no calls.
  21. But is not as serious as a shoulder or arm injury. In the grand scheme of things this is a positive outcome if you are a pitcher and you get injured the best outcome is a non throwing shoulder or arm/elbow/wrist/hand injury.
  22. I think both should have been no calls to be honest. The second one was a good no call let them play swallow the whistle. The same should have been done on the first. There is contact but not enough to call a foul on either IMHO.
  23. He is reportedly suppose to be ready to go for Friday.
  24. Could just call it KFC-U and make people think it is a college for Kentucky Fried Chicken!
  25. It is an exhibition game that was only 7 innings long. Not really concerned about any of that.
