  1. Neither are on the 40-man though so someone will need to be removed as I believe the 40-man is at the maximum.
  2. Well there’s 7 days off for Contreras.
  3. Yamamoto out with a strained rotator cuff. https://sports.yahoo.com/dodgers-p-yoshinobu-yamamoto-out-for-some-time-with-strained-rotator-cuff-suffered-months-after-signing-325m-contract-232343506.html
  4. Brewers offense per situation by wRC+. Again the Brewers offense is really good this year unless against LHP. And also since some hate the #4 hitter for the Brewers: The only sore spot for the Brewers offense has been against LHP where they are below league average and are 22nd against LHP.
  5. Not really as Hoskins isn't really a 1B. He is a DH and Walker would be a clear upgrade over both Bauers and Hoskins defensively at 1B. Walker is only hitting .010 OPS higher against LHP than he is against RHP. Walker is a career .799 vs LHP and a career .789 vs RHP. So basically the same hitter against both. Walker would be a good pickup for the Brewers to play at 1B and then have Hoskins at DH when Yelich or Contreras are not at DH.
  6. Christian Walker would be significantly better than Hoskins and Bauers but that is about it. Beyond Walker the next best available would be Alonso. I hope the Cardinals and Cubs continue to suck and stay under .500 so the Cardinals trade Goldschmidt to the Yankees and that leaves really only the Brewers looking for 1B help. Could make Walker attaining Walker or Alonso easier. The only other team I can think of that would need 1B help would probably be the Twins. Alonso may not even be available because the NL Wild Card race looks like it is going to be whoever sucks the less right now for the final spot. Only the Rockies and Marlins right now look to be out of it with everyone else being 1-2 games out of the final wildcard spot. At some point some of these teams will go on a losing streak and someone will go on a winning streak. There will be some separation at some point just right now it is a cluster <insert your favorite four letter cuss word>. Right now there are only 4 teams in the NL above .500 and one team at .500. That won't stay like that for the rest of the season but usually by now you can tell who will be sellers and who will be buyers and right now there are only four buyers and two definite sellers in the NL. Everyone else in the NL are just big question marks and some of these NL teams have what everyone else wants in a trade. The AL is a little bit better off but there are only three definite sellers and at least six definite buyers. The Red Sox, Blue Jays and Tigers all could be buyers or could be a mixture of both depending on what becomes available. I could see the Blue Jays or Red Sox trading for Luzardo even if they are out of it.
  7. Not sure why the weakest arm in the OF is starting in RF.
  8. Brewers. The White Sox are making that trade before you can think how bad of an idea that is. O'Rae alone should be enough for Jimenez. Kopech probably someone in the DSL.
  9. Frelick is just horrible. He watches way too many pitches split the middle of the plate it is like he is scared to swing the bat. Hopefully the Brewers can fool someone and get them to trade for him.
  10. Bowden stated this in one of his roundups or something like that this week or last week.
  11. Unlikely the buzz around the MLB is that the Brewers are going hard after pitching and haven't discussed with anyone any type of hitters. The Brewers front office is OK with who they have right now and are going after starters and relievers.
  12. Frelick still sucks. Absolutely awful AB’s game after game. Mitchell needs to get ready and quickly. Otherwise Frelick needs to become the 5th OF only.
  13. Works for me!
  14. The British will be having their elections on July 4th! I am completely offended by this OFFENDED I TELL YOU! Also been talking about this with some friends and coworkers but the 4th of July shouldn't be a holiday. It should always be the first Friday of July or better yet it should be a whole week because Murica that's why!
  15. We don't need your Canadian language here! We speak American! Go back to Antarctica!
  16. I couldn’t find the runs by home run but the Brewers only have a 2.7% home run rate per hit. https://www.teamrankings.com/mlb/stat/home-run-pct I think if you extract that out it should give you a quick reference in the run distribution by hits. You could calculate it manually at baseball reference I think.
  17. Perkins is like a mini Andruw Jones in CF so smooth out there.
  18. I would have to look again but I think the Brewers have one of the lowest runs by HR in the league.
  19. This team needs a Robert or Alonso type in the lineup. Just not enough of a HR threat in this lineup right now.
  20. If they need to hit home runs then they are not scoring. This team is more of stringing hits together to score runs than it is on the home run. Majority of this teams runs don’t come on the HR.
  21. I don’t think that really matters to the Bucks. They were and are still really high on him. I think he is in their A list of head coaching candidates.
  22. I think it will only be one cut and probably just after the election when the Fed meets in November. I have been on the one or no rate cuts for a while now. I don’t think we will see two this year. There are still 4 members in the no cuts camp and 8 in the two cut camp. Of the other 19 I haven’t seen anything or heard anything on where they stand. I am going to assume they are in the only one rate cut camp.
  23. If the team sucks or is not playing well then Ham is the next head coach. I think the Bucks wanted Ham to replace Bud but it was a year too soon when he left to be the Lakers head coach.
