  1. Yeah, drop Kotsay and Wilson. Then go with Cameron and Green. Problem solved.
  2. I sure hope so. Maybe that's why it's a "tough" decision for Roenicke. Because we all know he loves him so much.
  3. I'd also like to nominate Casey McGehee for a demotion to AAA. Especially after watching him continue to fail out of the 5 spot the last 2 days.
  4. Time for McGehee to go to AAA. Failed in the 5 spot, and will continue to fail in the 6 or 7 spot.
  5. The only thing that made me feel better at this point was this article http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/124779273.html Finally gives me a glimmer of hope that Kotsay will be dropped.
  6. Yeah, I thought this as well. He's obviously preferred over Kotsay or he wouldn't be here right now DH'ing.
  7. Roenicke basically said that wasn't happening in the article. Said Gomez is starting tomorrow, so it's not him.
  8. Kotsay, Kotsay, Kotsay. I say yes just so we can start the untuckem again. Plus he's a righty with some pop, which we actually need. I just posted that new topic with talk about Kotsay being DFA'd when Saito returns, so I say do that. Then after interleague Cameron can replace Gamel.
  9. I think McClendon should be recalled to replace Dillard or Estrada. He has pitched well in his little time here, and in AAA.
  10. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/124779273.html I feel this deserves a new topic, but mods feel free to put it somewhere if you think it fits. Basically, Saito will be activated for the Twins series and they are sending out a position player instead of a pitcher. By the sounds of it, it's not gonna be Gamel. To me, that brings it down to Wilson or Kotsay. Roenicke is saying it will be a really tough decision, which makes me hope that Kotsay will be dumped and Gamel will stick around at least for the time being. We will probably all be disappointed when Wilson goes, but Gamel DH'ing this series in place of Kotsay gives me hope.
  11. It's cool that CC still follows the Brewers, and watches the games when he can. I guess he freaked out just like I did and woke up the entire house when Prince hit that walk-off against Colorado.
  12. The Yankees are basically trying to shove this one in our faces with that crappy lineup. Basically saying that CC is an automatic win against us. Let's hope we prove them wrong.
  13. Pleasantly surprised that Gamel's playing. Would people honestly rather have Wilson in there? I sure wouldn't. Gomez in the 2 hole sucks, but if it keeps Casey out of the 5 hole I'm ok with it.
  14. Gotta love Plush. He runs full speed into the wall trying to make the catch, gets right up, and his only reaction is to be pissed that he didn't make the catch.
  15. More idiotic baserunning by the Brewers. Unbelievable. To be fair, that was a great catch. Gamel got robbed.
  16. Don't worry guys, he'll be back in the 5 hole tomorrow against the lefty.
  17. http://www.jsonline.com/s...s/brewers/124684804.html More good stuff from Tony Plush.
  18. Take it FWIW, but I heard this from a family friend who knows people in the organization well. She said she heard that McGehee is having marriage problems and that may have something to do with his struggles. He does seem to be rather unfocused out there at times, and not the same as he used to be. Seems like it could be a logical situation. Couples who have children with a disability like cerebral palsy, like McGehee does, often have marriage problems, but again take it FWIW. Not saying that's the reason, or that's why he's having marriage problems, just passing along what I heard.
  19. If McGehee keeps struggling it wouldn't surprise me if Gamel is moved back to 3B if Prince stays. Either that, or they will trade him for pitching because Greinke or Marcum, or both, will be gone if Prince is kept.
  20. If it was me, I would have Gamel start taking some grounders at 3B. It would definitely help to have him in there at least some of the time. For a team trying to contend, it makes sense to get the most talented players on the field. It will be a shame if Gamel tears the cover off the ball this week, McGehee continues to struggle, and then Gamel is gone and McGehee continues to hit 5th and suck. However, I'm sure that's what will happen.
  21. Wait? You think Betancourt is our 3rd best hitter? Our did you mean Lucroy? Either way you're wrong. Our 5 best hitters against RHP are Weeks, Morgan, Braun, Fielder, and Hart. Then it's Lucroy. They should hit 1-6 when we don't have a DH.
  22. I called this lineup. Even though Weeks Morgan Braun Fielder Hart Gamel McGehee Lucroy Betancourt would make the most sense. Oh well, can't complain much. At least we have Gamel DH'ing.
