  1. Some of the bobble Bernie Terrace tickets were gone when I tried to order extras through the season ticket early buy. That was before they went on sale to the public.
  2. Will it be popular? Yes. Will it be rare? No Only 500 of these made. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-BELOIT-SNAPPERS-PRINCE-FIELDER-BOBBLEHEAD-/111008430704?pt=US_Autographs&hash=item19d89e3a70 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Prince-Fielder-Beloit-Snappers-Bobble-Arms-Brewers-Detroit-Tigers-Head-/221180677510?pt=US_Baseball_Fan_Shop&hash=item337f654d86 If this bobble was given away in Nashville or Huntsville it would be more. But, given away in Wisconsin it will be available. It will start out at a $40 bobblehead and will drop down to $25 or so within a month.
  3. Since you have two 20 packs do you get 2 balls with possibly 2 different players? Did this event happen on a weekend or during the week like those lucheons? When we had the meet and greet with our ticket rep last year the Club level ticket checker didn't want to let both of us up to the Club level. I had to pressure the guy to let us both in with one letter since I have a partial season ticket package for 2 seats.
  4. I wouldn't want Jabbar to just "exist" in Milwaukee. He laid his bed almost 40 years ago, and because nobody else wants to give him a shot.
  5. But, you'll have to get them. R.A. Dickey was a minor leaguer with the Brewers on the Sounds. He was the PCL Pitcher of the Year also.
  6. I had a good time tonight meeting everyone and talking Brewers.
  7. My coolest Brewer memory was this rain delay I remember parking on Bluemound and getting KFC before the game. My dad was without a job at the time, so we couldn't afford to park in the lot. It was pouring at the game and we were drenched the whole walk back to the car. With the Dempsey skit and the rain it was great for a young boy.
  8. I tried to visit the Downtown Athletic Club to see the Heisman Trophy area. JFYI, the Heisman area is only set up for the event. It is mothballed the rest of the year.
  9. What did your SO get you? Its not listed here in the What's NOT bugging you thread.
  10. I hope you like country music as it will be playing inside every place you go
  11. If you don't have kids and bring the significant other the grand old opry is a nice hotel. It's expensive and you'll want a room facing the inside
  12. Record 91-71 Division: 1st All Stars: Braun, Weeks, Lucroy Disappointments: Gomez, Rogers Surprises: Peralta, Aoki World Series: Dodgers over Tigers Dodgers beat the Brewers in NLCS I have higher expectations this year than any other Brewers season.
  13. We also take double decker bus on a nice day. You can get on and off pretty much anywhere on the route with a less than 10 minute wait. We like to go to Little Italy eating at tables in the cobblestone street. Things to do in New York are either free or really expensive. FAO Schwarz has the piano keyboard from the movie BIG. Its fun to play around with. I haven't been to the new Yankee stadium, but get there earlier to take the tour of Monument Park behind the center field wall. I think it might be free.
  14. I've been to New York a few times. I even proposed to my wife on a carriage ride through Central Park. We always stay at the Fairfield Inn down the street from the Meadowlands in New Jersey. The bus stop is right outside of the hotel and it is the second last stop into the city. Its about a 10 minute ride to Port Authority which is one block from Times Square. Also, leaving the city it is the 2nd stop on the route. We just pay up for the Broadway tickets. When traveling its not worth, to me at least, standing in line a half a day for cheaper seats.
  15. I thought the Gomez one could have been an interesting one. One of him sliding into a base or diving for a ball.
  16. I've never been able to score a good jersey or any batting helmets. I'm jealous of the Pilots helmet.
  17. Its mostly because he works for the T Rats. He's inside the facility before the doors are open, and its a mad rush right when the doors open. Once you get to a table your kind of stuck there for at least a few minutes as your 3 deep at any one of the tables.
  18. I file single 1, and I have 4 total dependents. I get back around 1k from state and 11k from federal. I know its an interest free loan, but I would just piss that money away every week on things we don't need. By having such a large refund it gives more the ability to do home improvements, put it down on a vehicle, or just plain save it. I wouldn't be so budget conscience otherwise.
  19. When Wainright went down a couple yeras ago I thought the Cardinals were done. Then, with AW out for the season the Cardinals win the World Series. UGGHHHH
  20. Ron Wolf is the only person not in the HOF whose in the the Ring of Honor. Only 4 players have had their number retired. #5 has not been issued for regular season play since Hornung retired. I'm pretty sure #4 has not been issued since Favre had left.
  21. Packer HOF, and thats it.
  22. Unless your Bobby Bonilla
  23. Are you sure that hat wasn't game used. A guy I was in line with had gotten a Gamel game used hat in a grab bag which then he went to get Gamel to sign it. Is there a number underneath the brim? I don't think that bonus stage will be there next year.
  24. Segura was listed in a time slot for $10, then yesterday it was taken off.
