    If you thought the team's tickets were a kick to the balls, don't look at the secondary market. You got a steal if you bit the bullet at the team's offering.

    I am mentally prepared for us to drop Game 1 but still win the series. Just because. I have just been nonstop reminding myself this is a series and it's not over if we lose G1.

    I would just Uber in. I almost always do that anyway if my hotel isn't walking distance. Sometimes uber 3/4 mile out to save the headache. In a game like this, I'd probably be heading to the stadium so early that traffic wouldn't matter.

    The Brewers certainly had a tougher path with the alleged hottest team in baseball and the Dodgers. Tampa got a Judge-less Yankees and the Guardians who aren't a qualifier most years. Logic says the Brewers should win this. They are the best team, have been all year, and they beat the best teams. But logic doesn't always win.

    I'll say this about the Packers; if you gave me ST, pass offense/defense, rush offense/defense, and asked me which one I'd like to suck at, I'd pick rush offense if I had to choose. It's the one that has the best chance of progressing over the course of the year.

    Nah lol it's the World Series, if booing gets into his head we should absolutely be doing it.

    I often wonder how many issues could be solved by getting rid of helmets entirely. I understand it's a hot take but the helmet gives players from youth leagues all the way up a great level of comfort in turning their whole being into a missile. It is the hammer and the nail on a football field, awful for both the tackler and the tacklee. The old-time leather helmets seem like a better piece of equipment than what we have. The helmet is also what's causing the "pebble in a can" effect on the brain.

    People keep saying this on various sites and it is just not true. Not everyone has to be on blood thinners permanently. The only reporting on it has said the opposite, that he'll conclude treatment and resume football. The blood thinners are the risk not the clot itself. It causes the bleeding risk that could kill him. If he's on them temporarily, he can resume his career.

    It's a 98-win team, nobody is an underdog. You could put the Rockies in this and we might lose. Baseball can be a goofy, random sport. This is the best chance we've had in my lifetime and I hope we can take advantage, but we could fall asleep at the wrong time and go 0-4 and it wouldn't change anything I think about this season.

    Yeah, you will never get me to believe that there is not some level of rigging in these games. I don't think it's "make sure Green Bay wins" or "make sure Watson gets the over on 120 yards" but I absolutely believe the league has an edict of "your whistle can be a tool to keep things competitive sometimes" stated in less direct terms.

    Because it's still baseball. There isn't an angel looking out for this team and it's not going to fall into their lap if they don't play well because it's "meant to be." It doesn't matter if it's Cleveland and we are firing on all cylinders, sometimes you just lose. Every top team probably has a stretch during the season where they got swept or went 2-4 against teams winning 45% of their games. I've learned to shrug at what happens in the playoffs rather than try to find specific things to blame, what we did wrong or what we should have done. You have to submit to the chaos and just hope it goes your way once. If we lose, the layoff will get blamed. Or we didn't hit enough home runs. Or Miz isn't a "prime time" performer which you can just sense is the hot take waiting to come out with another "ok" start. Humans love to explain things rather than just admitting randomness occurs.

    Extending your arms to have that be what the QB absorbs seems like a reasonable compromise, like sliding. You can't stop all your momentum but you can put your arms out to weaken the contact rather than catapulting your whole body into him. Making it a 15-yard penalty is wild.

    Right, I wrote that confusingly, but I meant that right now, if someone gets blindsided on the return it doesn't wipe out the pick. If the ball is out prior to contact, let the INT stand. The one last night had nothing to do with the INT. While we're at it, can we just wipe out the two-handed push being a penalty ever? Trust me, the QB will survive being love-tapped to the turf.

    Then make it a variable call just like they do with personal foul itself. If it occurs after the play it is enforced on the kickoff etc. The vast majority of RTP occurs after the ball is released. When it isn't that, it tends to be headshots that they call. I probably have a list of like 10 things I would like to see implemented to get rid of all the ridiculous excessive flags that are ruining watching this sport. They should meet with MLB and discuss replay review while we're at it, they've managed to do it about 1000x better than the NFL.

    God the NFL is just terrible to watch. So much laundry.

    As ridiculous as that call is, it doesn't really make sense that roughing wipes out a pick. It doesn't have any bearing on the interception itself. It should be enforced on the return.

    The only reason this game is still in question is dropped passes. It's last week again if we catch the ball.

    That might have been the worst interception return I've ever seen. Maybe Burnett in the NFCCG was worse, but I've never see a CB just forfeit that much green space before. Bizarre play.

    We're supposed to but his feelings are too hurt from being booed during a 20-point loss in the home opener.

    I think I'd kick this based on how the game has gone but I'm fine if they want to go. Hate the 3rd down play to Kraft, who by the way hasn't done a whole lot other than complain about fans booing.
