I've stopped complaining about most of the choices we make but the starter being the first pitcher I would have removed from the playoff roster was an odd one for me.

Pretty relaxed about this one. If we avoid the big inning defensively we will have a chance at some point. If we get shelled at some point this is the only game I'm "comfortable" losing. Right back into panic mode at 3-2.

I think we broke them last night and it ends tonight. Could be NL Champions by 10pm.

Give me the Guardians please. Either one would be a week of nothing but anxiety, but Tampa is a great team and another suffering franchise desperately trying to seal the deal. Cleveland is a lot of the same history of misery, but their team just isn't that great this year and they don't have a big gripe to claim if they lose the WS. I don't want to play Tampa.

Someone will have a better answer than this, but in 2018 the strip price for my club seats was $340 for the World Series per seat.

I mean by far the best moment for me at a game was Game 7 Yelich home run in 2018, the only moment of the night where it felt like it was gonna happen. I've been at lots of other historic wins but nothing really approaches that level. I don't blame anyone saying they're not doing a grand for the terrace on principle. Too personal for me though. I have listened to my Dad bemoan my grandfather taking his brother to the World Series in 1957 my entire life. If there's a game I am getting my Dad there while I still can. When we lost in 2018 I thought that was my last chance.

There are so many things that could have altered where we are. The fresh two for me: Sanchez making the final out against SD Smith's double clearing the fence, we are likely 2-1 right now.

It's an idiotic price but one of those things where if the $1800 doesn't materially affect where you're going to be in a year, 3 years, etc...I'd just go. If you are sitting there with a maxed out CC then yeah, probably don't do that.

I don't understand that at all. It's not a ratings call because the Masked Singer has significantly lower ratings than every NLCS game of prior seasons.

Fox One is pretty easy to circumvent. Can get a new trial with a new CC and email endlessly.

I just want the game to get here, but I am not going to freak too much about tonight's outcome if negative. If they drop tomorrow, I'll be a wreck.

I can't believe we're on the verge of this. I said all year this felt like the one, but then when you actually get the Dodgers and start looking at the team again it starts to feel impossible. I assumed the path there would involve them slipping up in an earlier round and getting a good draw. I thought there was a path, but it would go to the brink and take everything. I just never saw being up 3-0 as realistic. All the suffering this franchise has endured, especially for those like me born after '82, who have never seen the great triumph. Ten years ago, I genuinely never thought I would see the Brewers in a World Series. That I might see the Bucks and Brewers in a Finals/WS within the same 6-year span is just not something I ever thought possible.

I was just praying he would get a hold of one after the foul. He didn't react at all to that one off the bat, so I knew he could tell it was hooking. Then the next one he didn't make us have to watch it sail over the fence. Loved his reaction.

They squeaked by the Jets and backup QB Bucs, then put in their best performance against not just a backup Bears QB, but a terrible one, whose team identity is a defense that sucks and relies almost entirely on the athleticism of the QB who didn't play. Dallas is probably a worse version of everything people hate about the Packers. Soft, undisciplined and choky. I think you'll see what the Packers are next week in Detroit. The Lions aren't special this year, but it's a hostile division road game against a team that can put up tons of points. In the end I think maybe the Packers are the Packers. Maybe eeking their way to 10-7 or something but not a real threat to do anything. But I'm not even really convinced they're that good either. -
I appreciate 1982, I really do, but once we finish this off, this organization can maybe finally move on from celebrating that lone year as something bigger than it was. I don't mean to belittle what that season meant to folks, and I do think they kind of moved on from it the last 5 years or so, but all the tributes to it between the 90s and mid 2000s were almost embarrassing.

It never filled. Pathetic showing from their fans but about one I expected. One of the largest cities in the country and I was supposed to believe it was because 5pm or traffic. Yeah, ok.

Yes but I wouldn't bother. Let him start off our mound at home, you have 4 chances to win 1 game. I'm sure he would start G5, so he's possibly be available for an inning in G7, but I would not use in either of the next 2 myself.
