  1. This would matter if LaFleur was a good coach. I don't think he is. I think he's a fine OC who got in over his head as a HC and has a resume made pretty by #12.
  2. Dude, you forget. He has Rich Bisaccia to help with game management.
  3. I wouldn't even have kicked the FG on 4th and 15. I would have pulled out my favorite play for 16 yards and run it. I didn't think that FG provided any value to them even had it gone in. Just didn't like the call at all. I was frankly ok with the miss as I thought it might make the Bears content to kick and tie the game. At least publicly they've said they're discussing an extension with LaFleur. I don't know why, but they are. They also said he's not being evaluated on tonight's game. I just don't know how you can ignore the trend here. This has become the identity and that is on the coach. They are comedic at this point though, they've become a league-wide joke. I think they could dig up Lombardi and put Ron Wolf in a time warp to 1994 and it wouldn't be enough.
  4. Those turnovers he gave them really have asterisks. He threw them both on 4th down, one was a punt and on the other he tossed up a chance because he was gonna get sacked. If you are gonna throw picks, throw those. But he didn't really hurt them. Bigger story was the 3 gifts from God that we didn't lose. The Watson fumble. The lineman fumble, and the Jacobs fumble.
  5. Offense went 5 drives straight of missed FG, punt, punt, punt, punt. They both kinda sucked. 28-6 second half.
  6. I actually disagree, I think a lot thought MLF could go this year without playoff progress. I think with the expectations and post Parsons trade they had to at least reach an NFCCG. He was bailed out by the injuries. But I didn't know this until recently, he is a Policy guy. He was on the committee that hired him. So not all that surprising he has publicly endorsed him. I want LaFleur gone. I think a lot of people thought the seat was hot this year, but I don't think he will be.
  7. I will defend the defense a bit. Offense did not get them off the field at all the entire 2nd half. They gassed out. They aren't good enough missing the cornerstones they are to carry a game. They needed support and the Packers went 5 straight drives with nothing.
  8. I actually think I may be done. I'm probably stuck reading headlines and box scores for the rest of my life, but I can't set myself up for this anymore. I thought we were getting wrecked next weekend regardless so I am not that busted up about this, but this is just a waste of energy unless you can appreciate the comedy of it all. It's incredible. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before.
  9. That's generous. It's been this way for 15 years.
  10. Nothing to really say anymore. Someone somewhere did something to put a hex on this franchise and this is all they are capable of doing. It's beyond messed up to feel 95% sure you're going to lose with a 21-6 lead in the 4th quarter. It seems to transcend whoever is playing or coaching.
  11. Glad we didn't play Golden all year. That's looking like some great coaching.
  12. Yeah if only we'd made it we could miss another FG.
  13. Our QB just tried to call a timeout out of a timeout.
  14. We won't kick a FG. The goal here needs to be a touchdown, nothing else gets out of this alive. Other than running it out inside the 10 or something. But the clock is almost a non factor right now.
  15. Don't think I can even watch how it ends if we lose possession.
  16. 4th and 8, backpedaling QB tosses up prayer, wide open target for 30-yard gain. That'll be the play I repeat in my head all summer no matter what ridiculous thing is about to happen in the next few minutes.
  17. Yeah. I have tried to defend the guy but it's getting hard.
  18. That missed EP might be a good thing. Hear me out, lol. It means if the Bears score 8 they don't have to score a touchdown and beat us in regulation.
  19. While you're probably right, at this point I would breathe with a FG. It at least requires you to crap your pants more to lose the game.
  20. The Packers are going to lose this game. I've already accepted it. It will not even be the smallest of surprises.
