  1. All the same. Playoffs are absolutely pointless. I'd rather lose out and miss them, focus on skiing. This is up there with one of the worst days of my life as a Packers fan. Super Bowl XXXII, Seattle NFCG, 4th and 26, and this. Getting too old to be this invested. Can't stomach things going up in smoke in December with a non contact injury to a guy we mortgaged the future on.
  2. Yeah our season is over. I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that before. 23-14 with the ball, looking like this was nearly locked down. 5 minutes later we have thrown a pick, 2 of our best 5 player are on IR and the season is over.
  3. MLF throwing up a completely idiotic prayer to the spaghetti monster.
  4. Scoring is up across the board but it was hard to argue with the stats. Just on eye test I would have hesitated to call them elite, but they were solid. Without Parsons you're going to see this very bad group of CBs get exposed.
  5. Life's been sucked out of me completely.
  6. To be fair they were getting waxed with him in the game. But that is a dagger for anything this team had hopes of doing.
  7. What a terrible sport this is. Seriously. I'm done. I won't watch another game this year.
  8. And the season and beyond is over.
  9. We're toast. We had zip as far as pressure today. The parallels with 2010 continue, we are not going to be a top seed, and every loss feels like a game we let get away.
  10. You have to catch that. Come on man.
  11. Just let them run the damn play Matt. They are very likely to gain 3 inches and you are going to want that timeout.
  12. I'm trying not to be reactionary but I don't see a long term path forward without Watson. We were a drastically different offense once he came back.
  13. Nix is killing us. He's what Bears fans are pretending Williams is. Just as athletic but doesn't miss throws.
  14. They need to run to keep some balance here but the execution has left a lot to be desired. 2nd and 10 tap dancing isn't it.
  15. Nixon out there doing a Jarrett Bush impression. Our corners are pretty garbage for what we threw at Nate Hobbs. Might as well have just paid Stokes $4 million or whatever.
  16. Our defense has not really played well at all. Without looking at the stats we've done ok with TOP, but they have kinda marched down the field on us at will. I think a fumble and one punt in the early going, but most of our defense has been just having the ball ourselves.
  17. I'd go back to the ground after a 40 yard run, possession and a 2 score lead but that's me.
  18. Dumb playcall, potentially catastrophic result.
  19. We can put this to bed with a TD.
  20. It does but it didn't really feel like anything egregious happened. I was ok with every drive. It's gotten them to a lead, with possession to start the half. They should absolutely win this game based on where they are right now. It feels like they've been dominant mostly and the big play has hurt them. The Broncos 2nd TD drive was embarrassing.
  21. Yes and no. I appreciate them draining the clock because it literally takes you about 20 seconds to get a field goal in the current league state. But we have consistently overdone it. I actually didn't hate that call to run it, but we had absolutely no urgency snapping it on the following play. Lead at half on the road, getting the kickoff is always a win.
  22. Can't be too upset with our standing but again feels like we should have more than we do. Another dumb ST snafu hurt our field position badly and then some pretty questionable clock management.
  23. Honestly, it's one of those things a la Sterling Sharpe where I actually kinda think him getting hurt made them better, not through any fault of his own, but it forced them to start playing differently. Watson coming back was huge though.
