  1. You are giving him way too much credit. He's one of the least accurate starting QBs in the league and once again he was about 50% with a losing interception.
  2. He sucks, and the best part of this baloney year they're having is that it'll buy him another 2 years as a starter.
  3. Thank God those frauds didn't rob another game throwing for 80 yards.
  4. Yeah that's a good way to put it. Unless we lose in Los Angeles, I get the sense I'll be bemoaning this season as a fairly down year for the NFC where we didn't capitalize. That said it does feel a bit like 2010 where the top seed is vulnerable, the Bears are putting together a questionable campaign and nobody really feels unbeatable.
  5. Turner is a flop. The only path forward for this franchise is trading Giannis. Some very bad basketball will follow that for a bit of a time, but it has to happen.
  6. Carolina was the kind of game that happens, and they aren't a bad team. Cleveland was an embarrassment they had in the bag and had to give away. They are also very lucky they got to kick a tying FG in Dallas because they should be 8-4.
  7. I agree. Something seems off. Also, the Packers-Panthers spread was ridiculous. Carolina isn't even bad.
  8. It must be because they aren't good at anything else. Love, while I agree there's stuff that's not great, might be getting MVP votes if Stafford didn't already have it locked up. Not sure who is playing better other than him.
  9. Lol, that's not even a question. 58% completion and a full yard lower YPA and I would say, he's got better weapons and a better OL. Williams is lipstick on a pig right now. If you glance at yards, TDs, INT, he looks fine. In his last 5 games, Caleb Williams is completing 54% of his passes, with an average volume of 35 attempts. In those 5 games he has surpassed 240 yards a single time and was under 200 yards twice. His normal line is something like 19/35 for 210 yards. About the only thing he's doing well is not throwing picks, I'll give him that, which does matter. Everyone is happy when you're 5-0, but those are numbers that have people calling for your benching. He's not good. He's just not. It's a legitimate miracle they are 9-3 with that defense. It doesn't make any sense.
  10. Make Williams throw, because he sucks. They don't do anything else well. The Bears truly must be remarkable running the ball, because everyone has to know that's what they're going to do. Williams is emblematic of the Bears mirage right now, his stats look decent at face value but you dig in, it gets a lot less impressive. 58% completion is among the worst in the league, bad YPA, bad QBR. Unfortunately for GB they have been soft in the one spot CHI is good, and just lost another cog. It's not really the best matchup for GB.
  11. It's past time to trade Giannis. This team is completely cooked. Personally, I don't get any joy from watching one of the best players in the world fight to go .500. Do him a solid and let him win elsewhere, don't make him demand it. There is no way he wants to be doing this.
  12. I guess. I still think Detroit is the 2nd best team in the North and they did put a 50 spot on the Bears. I think Detroit squandered its shot, the choke against SF and just got too injured last year. They're still decent, just not what they've been. It's hard to sustain that level for too long when you don't have an elite QB.
  13. Correct, sometimes you do win close games. When you are winning every close game, it's an anomaly. Compare the point differential of the Patriots, Broncos, Rams, Seahawks, Packers, Colts and Bears. One stands out very clearly. The Bears are winning games by 1 on fluke plays, winning games where they throw for 100 yards on 38 passes. And they are not winning a game or two like that, it's every game. Someone does this every year and it is never sustainable. They get badly exposed when it counts. Their legit offense? Williams is completing less than 60% of his passes. That's really bad. They can run the ball, I'll give them that. Are the Bears are a terrible team? No, but they are in a class with the Tampas and the Pittsburghs, not the ruling elite. They should be about 6-6, and their reckoning is coming. You can dig back a bit, I liked the Bears this year. Thought they did a lot to make the team better, they have a competent FO, and thought they were a good sleeper pick to be in the playoffs. But 9-3 is a fluke, the stats suggest it's a fluke, and it will proven as such.
  14. The Rams are clearly better than both. They are the class of the league right now, don't think there's any argument that can be made for another club.
  15. How was that Bears-Lions game? The Bears will be humbled and it will be funny. I don't know if it will be the Packers or their first playoff game. But I will bet anyone, any amount of money, that the Bears are not playing football beyond the divisional. When you're 9-3 with a differential of +2 and winning games the way they do, you're fake. Everyone has seen this before. It's pretty much the same phoney baloney thing the Bears are every time they have a season like this. They go nowhere and then back to the cellar the following year.
  16. I think I actually want them to continue their nonsense another week. Hanging a 4th loss on Philly might be more beneficial to us if we can take care of them twice. I am not concerned about playing the Bears at any point. We could drop a regular season game to them, but I just trust us to beat them in the playoffs if it comes to it. Traveling to Philly is pretty gross.
  17. Punt into the end zone nets like 20 yards. Even not converting that was 100% the right call up by 7. Up a field goal you maybe think about punting, but a punt is completely useless there.
  18. Legend of Toyotathon grows. Great game by the Packers and yes, even MLF.
  19. 2025 Green Bay Packers: Firing on all cylinders, just never at the same time.
  20. Yeah I guess you're right. Very disappointed in the defense giving up 7 at the end.
  21. MLF is the suppressant on this team. This just feels like yet another game that shouldn't be as close as it is and we are a 3rd quarter opening drive away from trailing. I don't get it. Trying not to beat the dead horse but it's just nauseating. I appreciate this is a good half on the road against a good team, but can't quite shake the feeling that it shouldn't be this close with how they're playing.
  22. Rams, Eagles, Packers. Rams have to be the favorite. Philadelphia will be a very difficult place to win a playoff game. They have the pedigree. Packers would be my #3, if you play defense the way they do and get to the QB, you give yourself a chance. And they have shown they can compete with the stronger teams. Have played in a lot of tight games. The kicking game makes me a bit leery of their playoff chances.
  23. Rams are definitely the class of the league right now, but I would much rather be forced to play there than in Philadelphia.
  24. Just an empty, meaningless cliche. They don't rush the passer and they have a decent, not great QB. Statistically, they do nothing exceptionally well. I was a believer in the Bears making the playoffs and disrupting the division, but it's a joke that they are pushing for a 1 seed. I absolutely welcome the Bears taking one of the top playoff spots. They won't go anywhere, and it just prevents an actual contender from being 1 or 2. I think it's all moot though and they'll up at 6 or 7. 8-3 with a -6 differential isn't a coincidence. They are doing the same old Bear crap and will collapse back to 6-11 next season. This season is starting to mirror the Packers last Super Bowl run. Couldn't win their own division, offense struggled throughout the year, Bears won the North, no standout team in the NFC, 27-year-old QB quietly coming into his own without much fanfare, strong defense, star tight end on IR, and the only losses are very close games. It's uncanny, really.
