  1. Average points allowed across 3 losses: 13 Our PF-PA in those games is 13-10. Ridiculous statistic for an "offensive-minded" HC. But yeah, go EPA!
  2. If you read the tea leaves from Policy, Gute is sharing the hot seat with Matt.
  3. He was fired at 4-7-1 with the team virtually eliminated from the playoffs. 5-5-1 won't do that, for the simple reality that swapping your HC in week 13 isn't going to make anything better. At 5-5-1, your best bet is just to ride it out. I think they are going to get annihilated on Thanksgiving though.
  4. NFL coach getting fired while sitting in playoff position doesn't really happen. It's too difficult to install a new system and do anything with it midyear. The guys getting canned are always 2-8. It's just not productive to fire him now, unless they end up sitting 5-10-1.
  5. I don't think anything happens mid season but I think he's a sitting duck. The team stinks, it's not a contending team, which was the big push. They will want to see who is available. A guy just being a solid coordinator doesn't make him a good HC. Maybe an actual QB guru, not a guy pretending to be one.
  6. Truly baffling and I am dying to hear his idiotic reasoning. The FG was the equivalent of a kneel down.
  7. I could be wrong, but I believe Love's biggest problem is Matt LaFleur. Everyone has seen how good Love is capable of looking for prolonged stretches. This offense is stale, uncreative, and not suited to his strengths.
  8. Yeah I think the playoffs are a huge assumption. We are looking up at Detroit and Chicago, tracking for an ass whooping on Thanksgiving which could end up being the least of our concerns. I'm out for a bit. I skipped last week assuming we'd win, but this team is not just bad, but bad TV. Only positive is that I do think Matt is getting canned.
  9. Can't overstate how much I want LaFleur gone. Even in a scenario in which either choice has a less than 1% chance of success, he still plays for a tie with a field goal that has virtually no chance of happening rather than just throwing up a doable Hail Mary from 50. He is not average. He is one of the worst 5 coaches in the league.
  10. Just throw it up. This kick isn't going anywhere.
  11. Not sure it's possible to make this.
  12. The Packers; -Paid a lot of money for Nate Hobbs -Paid a lot of money for Aaron Banks -Traded away two first-round picks -Drafted a WR first round who has less than 300 yards after 9 games. -Got worse
  13. Very fitting end. Uninspiring, unimaginative playcall coupled with laughable execution. LaFleur's schtick has run dry, time to turn the page.
  14. Not Love's best night. But these guys have done him very little favors snagging catchable balls.
  15. I hate to say this, but I've already mentally designed the interception Love is about to throw.
  16. Last set of downs here. Not exactly surprised we can't get off the field when it counts.
  17. That 3rd down was just the most vintage Packers defense.
  18. Had that thought as well, only problem is that making it makes Philly that much more reluctant to give the ball back.
  19. Has one of Matt's sexy trick plays ever gained 5 yards?
  20. This offense administers every drive regardless of score and clock, as if they are ahead 3 scores with 8 minutes left in the game.
  21. Couple more 2 yard dives and we're right back in this thing.
  22. One coach goes for the throat, the other can't find his balls. This team sucks.
  23. Yet again, one slip up sabotages the planned 20 play drive. Stupid penalty, then Matt punts from the 40 to net 20 yards of field position. Bang up job, coach! Consecutive home games and 13 total points from our guru. Tell me again how great our EPA is though.
  24. Both of the last two throws need to be caught. Doubs is a tough play but it's on your hands, you need to figure it out. This offense just hasn't had a rhythm the entire season. Yet again, the -4 yard run derailed things. They just can't string plays together without a hiccup and when the hiccup happens, they never can recover.
  25. Peak MLF would be calling a timeout there to give up a Hail Mary TD.
