  1. XFL was a joke. In this climate, it has new life. They have the benefit of knowing what didn't work the first time, too. If there is a league in prime time TV that allows players to hit each other and is 2 to 2.5 hours long, with less replay reviews and pointless plays, the NFL will be in trouble IMO. The brand is dying.
  2. When will vendors learn how to sell tickets? I swear to god this happens for everything.
  3. The box office is not answering calls, at least mine. I've yet to get a response via email as well.
  4. Please Note: There is a limit of 4 tickets per game, per account, and once you have completed a purchase through this link, your account number/password will no longer be valid for additional purchases through this opportunity. Tickets will be delivered exclusively through the MLB Ballpark App, with barcodes displaying prior to gates opening on game day. Our accounts were locked when we completed a purchase.
  5. Nope, it is working as intended. They just poorly formulated what was happening by not using clear English. What it should've said is, "You will be allowed to buy 4 tickets total spanning the Wild Card & NLDS Games." That's not what was intended. It's 4 per game. The problem is that we processed our order instead of "additional tickets" like the poster above. This a widespread issue and people are pissed off. Just spoke with my rep.
  6. Are you calling the office? I can't at the moment.
  7. What a farce. The "ticket" icon can't opened in a new tab, so once I placed one order I lost out on the entire NLDS. I am absolutely livid. This was TERRIBLE by the Brewers.
  8. Uh, it's not letting me buy NLDS tickets. It says I've reached my limit after buying 4 for the Wild Card. That's not what this says: "Beginning next Monday, September 24 at 10:00 am CT, you will be able to purchase up to 4 tickets for the NL Wild Card game and each NLDS home game at Miller Park."
  9. I disagree. The hardcore fans, people like me that lived for Sunday, are getting sick of it. I'm not watching next weekend. There is a legitimate opportunity brewing for the XFL in 2020. They launched the product the first time at simply the wrong time. It's a different era now.
  10. I would have two courses of action ready to go at 10am: Have your my Brewers ticket account ready, but in another browser just have the postseason page open. After re-reading the SSH email this may be something separate from MBTA. The other presales this year have been under special offers. It looks like there will be a link for the specific pre-sale, but remember that your password is your account #, not your email. I would assume that will be on the postseason page you mentioned. Good luck.
  11. My Brewers Ticket Account. It's not 10am, so you won't see it.
  12. The only thing close to a "must" this series is that the Brewers beat the Cardinals once. I think we're throwing around "must" interchangeably with "want." But if the Brewers were to get swept and Colorado wins a couple games then your heart rate starts to increase.
  13. As an aside, this SURE is starting to feel like a year where the Bears pull off a random 12-4 season. They are undefeated right now without Rodgers's heroics.
  14. Been retooling for about 6 years now, ever since takeaknee was running roughshod all over the field for record book performances....how quick will that retooling be? I know what blue means, but I'm still confused by the post. They haven't re-tooled at all, they've been filling needs with (bad) draft picks for 8 years. I think you will see a dramatic offseason in '19 with all the money coming off the books and the Rodgers contract behind them. BK had to light the thing on fire before he could really get to work and that's basically what he did IMO. He made a few low-risk, front-loaded deals with FAs hoping they could do something this year, but I think he has a long-term vision that starts with firing McCarthy. Just the way Sherman hung on for one season before TT fired him.
  15. They only brought back McCarthy so he didn't feel assured he was being let go. If the season went well, he maybe returns, but I think Gutekunst has his finger hovering about the trap door and wants McCarthy gone. New GMs want their own guys. Like I said in the off-season thread, this season is reminiscent to me of 05. Expiring contracts, a couple over-the-hill vet signings that smelled desperate. The talent just is not there. I forecasted 8-9 wins but after seeing this group in action this could very well be a 4-6 win team. Just years.of underwhelming drafts are finally catching up. With the Cobb and Matthews failures finally gone soon, they should be able to retool quickly. Remember the Packers went from 6-10 to champs in two seasons.
  16. I think I'll take a week off. Only bad surprises can come from Buffalo at Lambeau. The NFL is becoming really hard to watch.
  17. If that's a flag, I'm done with football.
  18. Unfortunately it's looking like my preseason prediction for this team may be deadly accurate for the first time in my life. Thought the additions were desperate, over-the-hill vet types and that years of bad drafts would catch up to them. I think they did well in this draft, but the foundation is too shaky. And guessed that McCarthy would be fired during or the day after the season. Sure, they've done this before and then squeaked into the playoffs, but I think this roster is seriously devoid of talent in some very important spots.
  19. This defense got worse, a ton worse, the second King was hurt. He is out, and that absence not only forced House on the field but exposes guys like Brice even more. The Vikings went right after the secondary after King left and had the long TD to Diggs. If they're going anywhere without an acquisition, King and Josh Jones need to be healthy. King will be a star if he can stop getting hurt.
  20. Yeah, idk. My interest in football may be waning or maybe I'm just still baseball programmed.
  21. Anybody else just feel kind of disengaged? Maybe it's because the Brewers are still in it for a change. But I'm kind of bored and looking for an excuse to go do something else. I dunno.
  22. We're really doing the pay the refs thing? This is an 8-8 team. Rodgers is holding them up and doing it on one leg. All of the PI/Holding have been legit.
  23. This games just has the vibe of one where we go down big and rally for a 3 pt win. I hope I'm right, but wish we could just blow people out EVER.
  24. Good Lord Davon House is slow. I have no idea why he was retained. Terrible player.
  25. Realistically 2-6 would probably get us in as WC2 but it would nice to so it sooner.
