  1. There is no mystery here. I don't get what all this fuss is about. The same thing happened in Beloit with the Gallardos and I had a voucher and just got my Gallardo yesterday. There is no "plot thickening." The bobbles were stuck in customs. What I can tell you is that I've purchased probably 20 bobbleheads from sushirunner over the years and I have NEVER had a problem. I have bought two or three from Matt and no complaints there either. I don't know how they get them. Frankly I don't care. They are getting me bobbles from games I could never attend, and both of them have cut me awesome deals and saved me money. It would cost me more to get them somewhere else. One thing though, Mr. Detective. You do know that CCD7 has sold a lot more than two of these bobbles, right? He's been pre-selling for weeks. There is no scandal, so quit crying about your porcelain, it really isn't THAT big of a deal. It's a neat hobby, just leave it at that.
  2. So in this fantasy rotation, why is our eighth best starter in the fifth spot?
  3. The Brewers are not going anywhere this year and sadly this is the best chance they're going to have for at least a couple more years.
  4. All I know is that if this were to happen, I'd hope the series starts in Wrigley.
  5. The only thing I feel in my heart is that the Brewers will always crumble when opportunity knocks. They have for the last 26 years. This series is deja vu all over again with the tail end of the last season. The Cubs get swept by the Marlins and the Brewers sit at home losing more games. Uninspired baseball, uninspired team loaded with guys who have not lived up to their billing. The Brewers will be lucky to snag the WC with this bullpen and RISP hitting. If the Brewers are lucky enough to be two games ahead of the Cubs heading into the final three against them at Miller Park, I'd put good money on the Brewers blowing the division. And if the Brewers are two games behind, I'd expect no more than two runs a game and a sweep.
  6. I love the sound of trains. That's just me though.
  7. I have: Fielder Huntsville (2) Fielder Snappers (2007) Cooper pinstripe (2006) Also still have a ROMLB signed on the sweet spot by Matt LaPorta that I'm willing to trade or sell. I also have a Bowman rookie auto of Braun that I can part with or sell. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/3712654399b00296ac5bea65b8eb01179a0a8097.jpg I want to trade them for any of these: 2007 Gorman Thomas Woodchucks 2008 Jim Gantner Woodchucks 2008 Jim Gantner Brewers uniform from the Woodchucks 2008 Robin Yount Woodchucks 2008 Woody Woodchuck
  8. Kendall is three years younger than Pudge and Posada.
  9. Bashing announcers: everyones favorite past time. I don't think there's ever been an announcer that doesn't constantly get ripped on.
  10. Man, it's been that long? I guess I never paid attention to it.
  11. So I'm as big a die hard as the next guy, but without television and pretty crappy Internet it's hard to follow the Brewers as much as I want to ... I've noticed they've quit the whole pitcher in the 8 hole, but I never heard about this. When did they start doing this and what was the rationale?
  12. Page 3 of an in-game thread before a pitch has been thrown, in a game that might be delayed. Brewer fever!
  13. Please count me in. I might have to skip class, but so worth it.
  14. I disagree that Counsell hasn't met his salary. The Brewers are getting exactly what they thought and exactly what Counsell costs. Guys who have been around that long, have championship experience and always seem to come up big in those clutch moments, tend to be worth a little more. I have no problem with Craig Counsell's contract. I want Craig Counsell off the bench if we make the playoffs.
  15. What do we do? Worry about it when the time comes, at least that's what I say. Enjoy Hardy's hot streak and worry about Escobar when he's ready to go. The Brewers will make the right move.
  16. Until this week Hall hadn't had a "high high" for a very, very long time.

  19. If the current players play up to their ability, there is really no need for Gallardo to play. Their is a need for Gallardo to play next year when Sheets or Sabathia or both are playing somewhere else. There is my answer.
  20. Note: I kinda like Jeff Suppan, I think he's a decent back end starter ... just way overpaid.

  22. Updated the list. And for the LaPorta, I'm looking $30 range case included.
