  1. Mystery ailment is all I can find. I'm hoping he didn't pull his contract muscle...
  2. Yeah, I read somewhere that they haven't updated any of the weights since their rookie year. One article had Wooden in the 290s... but certainly south of 300. Add in that Walker is really bad at getting off blocks and this could be concerning. I guess we weight and see...
  3. I stuck with "Rock" to keep close to the original quote and since that is Bill Schroeder's nickname, it worked.
  4. He was being interviewed at Ueck's service and said all three were stored away now. If I remember right, his mom grabbed the one he used. One went to the Brewers and the other to the MLB? He didn't want to break it... which I can appreciate. But he could make more...
  5. Yes! A fellow Red Raider! I started diving into investing 30 years ago when Motley Fool was new and day trading was going wild. But I realized that this wasn't where I wanted to invest my time. I plugged into index funds and will retire comfortably via the power of time and dollar cost averaging. 'Tis enough for me. Best advice for investing is: Start yesterday. Second best is: Start Today.
  6. The Brewers are currently the #2 offense this season: NYY - 719 runs Brewers - 711 runs. And of course, the first three games of the season gave NYY a 22-run advantage.
  7. Maybe because the Phillies average 4.8 runs/game? Of course... the Brewers are at 5.1 runs/game...
  8. AKA - Preseason Game 4 that actually counts on the schedule. Given how pre-season games are mostly played by backups these days, it would be nice to avoid all games within the division until Game 3 or something like that... kind of like a College schedule. But either way, here we go - head to head with the Lions. How will Love's hand hold up? Or his accuracy with minimal practice? Which WRs will actually be healthy? How will Golden look? How much will Parsons play? What shape will he be in? Who will play C? Can our CBs keep up with Detroit's WRs? How much will the OC/DC change effect the Lions? Did the true brains of the team walk out the door? What will Hutch look like coming back from injury? Will we need to block anyone else? How will Detroit's last minute revamped IOL hold up? Do we have the DTs to make it matter? And while I'm pumped about Parsons... I'm still excited to see a second-year leap from Cooper!!!
  9. Packers.com has a bit of a hole (not to mention no update for Parsons). I'd guess it will come later in the week as there is no motivation to update it now.
  10. Well, we finally have proof of what we all knew... 😉 Shelby Miller signs with Brewers He signed with the Brewers, but never actually played. It was a low risk MiLB deal, but then COVID happened.
  11. Correct. This is one area where the "rules" are kind of pointless due to all the ways around the rules.
  12. Please keep the Magic number posts focused on the numbers. Plenty of other places to discuss concerns, bad decisions, etc..
  13. Of course, Parsons has a 20% QB pressure rate on Sewell (who has a 7.3% QB pressure rate overall). 😄
  14. I really hope Jenkins didn't catch Parson's back injury...
  15. Nuts. I was hoping that last year's injury recovery would provide a good template for the future of "let's just have him be the enthusiasm coach (i.e. cheerleader) from now on.
  16. I'm really interested to see what Hafely is going to do here to move Parsons around. Rotating Gary, LVN, and Parsons at DE like they normally would with their top 3, of course. Pass rush with a DL of Gary, Wyatt, LVN, and Parson on obvious passing downs. - LVN moving inside to pass rush like Z-Smith used to do. DL of Gary, Wyatt, Wooden, LVN with Parson, Walker, and Cooper at LB - Probably more of a 3-4 front. Seriously - Parsons, Walker, and Cooper at LB... That has to be a blitz package nightmare for our opponents. Ironically, I wonder if drafting Oliver was already going in this direction. Not that I'm comparing Parsons and Oliver in quality, but more in size and how they can be used.
  17. Instant bad take on the trade: So I guess GB is going to have a 2-year run of not drafting a WR in the first round come 2027...
  18. I would add that he put GB on the FA map and instantly became a leader in the clubhouse that needed someone to set the tone.
  19. Legend.
  20. That is the scary part of this. No matter if Clark was aging, he was still our best NT. Depth was already a concern with our rookie NTs moving backwards often in pre-season against backups. As of now, we have Wooden starting at NT and Brinson/Stackhouse as his backups. Stopping the run could be an adventure... but clearly a great move. No one is going to want to pass the ball against us this year.
  21. You are so consistently positive, it is shocking to see you do the opposite...even on rare occasions. 😉
  22. Joe throwing shade at our minor league system? @Joseph Zarr change your password! I think you've been hacked!
  23. Playoffs and win Central division = Happy Losing first round of the playoffs = frustrated Getting to the NLCS = ok finally back! Getting to the WS = YES!!! Winning the WS = LET'S GOOOOOO!!!!!
