  1. Namely catching the ball and not making penalties...
  2. We are also one of the youngest (or was it the youngest?) team in the NFL. Mistakes do come with youth. Not an excuse, but it is part of the learning curve unfortunately.
  3. My only thought was Branch dips his head right into Melton's helmet... Seems like the old NCAA rules for DQ
  4. Wow, if Melton doesn't get a concussion from that I'd be shocked
  5. Slaton right on top of the ball and can't notice that it wasn't snapped...
  6. He does seem to miss key games... Vikings and now Lions.
  7. Brady's voice is very nasal. They should auto-tune him to give him more bass.
  8. Given how slick it is and that Nixon was sent into equipment (actually hurdled it, but then almost fell) it should've been called. No reason for a cheap shot like that. Nixon was pretty lucky to not get hurt.
  9. But he was out of bounds... well out of bounds.
  10. Nixon shoved in the back out of bounds and he gets the PF.
  11. Any given Sunday, injuries or not. Lets GOOOO!
  12. Or even who to block... Right before the incredible TD catch, the Jets ran a failed WR screen. Mike Williams inexplicably tried to block a CB that was covering another WR, leaving his CB free to run in and drop the play for a 3-4 yard loss. It was really obvious who he was supposed to block, but still ran after the other CB... I'm sure Rodgers will have a few choice words for him in their next film session.
  13. Great. For Halloween, the Bucks dressed up as Apathy and Lethargy. These guys don't look like they even want to be out there. No idea what PC brings to the team anymore. He can't shoot. He is out of position on D. Yet they give him so much playing time. Giannis' free throws are embarrassing. They should make a deal that he can't shoot jumpers farther than the FT line if he can't shoot better than 70% of his FTs. The entire offense just looks like people standing around and watching the player with the ball... Just bad stuff.
  14. Those Favre playoff losses (ALL AT DALLAS) are scars that are still healing...
  15. It's been a very long time since we invested at safety, but using D-POTM seems like an odd metric to use. I mean, would you prefer to have Amos or Bigby (at their peak Packer days) back there at safety?
  16. I didn't want this to get hidden in the Hook thread, so I split it out.
  17. Yeah, I know. I'm known as someone who intentionally takes things the wrong way to make it funny. 😉
  18. I have to admit that trading Giannis has crossed my mind unfortunately. It would be horrible, but it is hard to see a path to another championship with the current team. I actually think Horst has done a good job... sort of. He keeps finding creative ways to bring talent to the team and being competitive. He was in a tough spot by trying to keep the team together to win again (and derailed by injuries). Then pushed by Giannis (so it seems) to hire and/or keep certain players. The team trend has been downward the last few years, but he has been creative in slowing the decent.
  19. Not sure how old you are, but I respected Tom Landry a lot.
  20. Certainly fair to question him for things that he is responsible for. I just thought saying that two young kickers that struggled under him and succeeded elsewhere seemed a rather circumstantial argument. I like how you state that Chicago is a rest week. 😂 But I agree with Detroit... if you can play, you should play.
  21. Really interesting that they didn't have this play on the playbook this week yet recognized that the Jags' defense was susceptible and ran it without practicing it. Overall, Malik continues to look like a great trade. Just very surprising how comfortable he looks and easily he makes plays. Why did we pay Love anyway!?!?! Jacobs, Kraft, Doubs, Cooper, Wilson, McKinney were all great in that game. Morgan was uneventful (good for OL) at RG in limited snaps. Bullard and DL played pretty poorly. Walker, Jenkins, Myer struggled some. Reed disappeared for a second straight game, until that final big play. Each week, Bullard continues to look more and more like a liability. Perhaps it was the in-game move from slot to safety that didn't help him, but he was burnt early and often.
  22. Totally disagree saying that Locke wasn't the problem... Not the only problem, but he was clearly the biggest problem. He was inaccurate, staring down WRs, throwing early (making accuracy worse), and the pick-6 was the main game changer. He was decent the first half (when his WRs are having issues), but it was mostly him the second half. Now, I'm not ready to totally dump the guy as (despite the transfer portal) you still do need to let guys develop and grow. But he was clearly our biggest issue in the game yesterday.
  23. It is nice that (so far), we've been able to talk about past kicking and not the present... Pretty amazing that you get signed to a team and your first two games comes down to game winning FGs... Imagine how bad it could've been...
