  1. The walk to the pitcher took CC out of his game. I know it's not much of an excuse as he needs to forget about it and throw strikes, but the ump completely blew that call on strike 3 to the pitcher. Even the announcers could be heard in the background making a noise like "huh?" after that ball was called. The crowd got into it and CC was rattled. The ump and Hart's turd have handed all the momentum to the Phillies. Thanks you two!
  2. How is ball 1 to Myers not strike 3?
  3. I was against putting Nelson in for defensive reasons, but at this point Hart's horrible offense outweighs Nelson's sub-par defense. He just watched three of those off speed pitches thrown for balls to Hardy in the previous at bat, and he swings at the same pitch on the first pitch?! Hart needs the off season to completely forget what Skaalen has or has not been teaching him. What a wasted inning!
  4. Great time for Hart to come through. Hang one like he did on called strike three to Cameron.
  5. They got the great pitching they needed to win today. Too bad about the other two aspects of the game.
  6. They just mentioned the wiff rate for Hamels as being better than 50% (the amount of times a hitter swings and misses). Anyone have the wiff rate for Brewers hitters this year? I would have to assume it's the worst in the NL.
  7. What do you mean? Skaalen is telling them to swing when it's almost in the dirt and take when it's across the plate.
  8. The Phillies are the better team in every category except for best #1 pitcher. I don't blame anyone for picking the Phillies. Doesn't mean the Brewers can't pull an upset.
  9. Double switch. Is Weeks the one to go? I hope so.
  10. I just heard that Congress plans on giving the Brewers a huge tax credit for all the wind energy their bats are producing this year.
  11. Yo has earned the right to pimp slap Weeks, Cameron and Hall (in that order) when he gets to the dugout.
  12. Now that the Brewers are in the playoffs, I don't get nearly as upset as I used to with their mistakes. With that being said, Melvin better make it a priority to focus on defense and OBP this off season. Too many games where the lack of those skills have cost us.
  13. What an awesome day for all Brewer fans. I never thought they'd get there after this month, but they did it, and in spectacular fashion nonetheless. Who knows what can happen now with this momentum the team now has. Even if they don't do much in the playoffs, though, it's still been great to see them make it, and to listen to our announcers like Uecker, Powell and Rock celebrate along with us all. At worst, we all have three days to bask in the glow of this playoff birth. Life is good!
  14. Should the Brewers make it, Coffey has done all he can to earn Riske's spot on the playoff roster. Nice pick up by DM.
  15. I am a big fan of Hart, but his leash has been way too long. I would take Gwynn over Hart at this point.
  16. I know your joking, but c'mon man. Does anyone else's blood boil at the mere mention of this moronic jingle the Cubs have force fed us all? I must say, though, I did not feel disgust after seeing the Cubs/Mets score tonight. I guess a tiny part of me does want to see the Brewers in the playoffs at any cost (even if it does mean a helping hand from that team down south that has nothing but dolts for fans).
  17. This team disgusts me more and more every day. After this epic collapse, they allow the Cubs, of all teams, to have a large hand in their playoff fate. I still refuse to root for the Cubs. I will not be watching any of the games, but I'll be hoping in vain for a Mets sweep of the Cubs, a Marlins sweep of the Mets, and the Brewers winning out.
