  1. I peruse this site far too often not to pay it back somehow. Brian please PM me the details as to get a check out to you as soon as possible.
  2. My team has made it to Sunday action in the tournament I'm playing in this weekend. I'm not sure yet what time I'll be playing since I have 1 more game yet tonight, but it's in Dundee so it's safe to say I won't be able to make it tomorrow. See ya boys on Tuesday.
  3. I finally found some info from Adam McCalvy's game story... http://brewers.mlb.com/news/gameday_recap.jsp?ymd=20080817&content_id=3322370&vkey=recap&fext=.jsp&c_id=mil I sure hope Torres wasn't just downplaying things, we need him.
  4. Luke, I'll be here for that first game on Tuesday the 2nd. The only game I'll miss will be the game on Thursday, September 4th.
  5. Are we looking good for Sunday? I plan on being there.
  6. Yep that was me. I went off to California for the military but was sent home with a chronic knee issue that kept flaring up. They made me take a medical discharge and I've been home ever since. It's the kind of thing that rarely bothers me in everyday life. But military rigors made it flare up too often for their tastes. I've played softball all summer and haven't had a single issue.
  7. I don't know if I'm allowed to play in this thing, but I'd love to participate if possible. The 17th works great for me as well. It would be a good warmup for the fall league.
  8. Is there anyone that doesn't agree that Prince Fielder should recieve some kind of reprimand including a minimum of 1 game suspension?
  9. I couldn't find the poop down your leg picture. Or rather, I didn't want to.

  11. Is it really any surprise that we scored the run when all the pressure was off?
  12. So at least they've got that going for them, which is nice.
  13. In honor of accepting the fact that the Brewers will always find a way to disappoint me when my hopes are highest, I just uncased my autographed Prince Fielder baseball and threw as far as I could into the prairie beyond my back yard. If that land is ever developed, a builder will be the new proud owner of a worthless baseball.
  14. Isn't that just the most ridiculous thing though. It's the decade of the 90's all over again. Is there ever an end to this? Every single time they get fans excited they follow it up with a complete choke job. Start 13-0 and have a losing mark by May. Sweep a road series, don a few novelty suits and then puke it right back up in Pittsburgh. Sweep St. Louis on the road, win 8 in a row, a 7-0 roadtrip, leadoff Sportscenter, and then whadya know...wet the bed. New players, same result. I believe my maker will never throw more at me in a single day than I can handle. But this is getting obscene.
  15. Absolutely. They keep saying "we hit home runs, that's what we do". Do they really think they can go far with 4 batters in the 9 man lineup batting .230 or below? Durham almost has to play every day for the simple fact that we can get one of the mendozas out of the lineup.
  16. The Brewers pooped down their leg when things got interesting. It's especially sad when you consider some of the more talented players on the team are laying the biggest turds.
  17. Hey Ned, why not throw the season away right here with this game. Let "Benny" throw 180 pitches. Get yourself fired while you're at it.
  18. Brewers fans deserve better than this. Cubs fans think they've been waiting forever for a World Series. I'm still waiting for my first playoff experience.
  19. I'm referencing the lack of hitting and the overall boneheaded defense last night and tonight. It sucks to use the word, but if the shoe fits... They're Choking.
  20. I get the sense that the Brewers aren't quite ready for prime time. I hope the day it clicks comes in my lifetime.
  21. Well, all I keep hearing is how the Cubs are gonna take the division, beating out the Crew, because all else being equal, their bullpen is waaaay better than Milwaukee's. Here's to proving 'em wrong.
  22. If Hart stays within himself and swings at good pitches, he can get this done.
  23. I like the vibe being put out by Braun and Fielder tonight. They're both composed and relaxed. I think one of those two are gonna win this one for the Crew.
  24. I might have gone with the changeup myself, but I'm not a big leaguer and I can't argue with the result there. It's time to score the go-ahead run(s).
  25. And when the Brewers win 5-4, you can tell everyone that the final score was 7-4.
