  1. Man things got interesting in Zebulon in the bottom of the 8th. With two on and two out, a long deep fly ball that is just foul, and Dorchies got lucky there. Next pitch a routine grounder to DiTuri as the batter stumbles out of the box, but the hop DiTuri expected never happened and under his glove, and it's an infield single to load the bases, but DiTuri makes up for it with a nice catch on a pop up into foul ground in the bullpen area on the very next pitch. Those last three pitches were eventful.
  2. Adamczewski is human after all. After the BB in the 1st, he goes fly out, K and pop out. I mean he can't OPS over 1.000 for the whole year 😉
  3. Sam Garcia gives up 5 in the bottom of of the 5th. The T-Rats are becoming harder to watch. Maybe I go back to calling them the T-Rays lol. And speaking of which - since his former teammate and potential competition for future 1B of the organization was drafted, Blake Burke has dug himself into a major slump. 4-31, with 14 K! Yikes EDIT: just realized Burke and Fischer were NOT teammates, as Fischer played at Ole Miss in 2024.
  4. Dorchies in now. Gives up a lead off walk, then gives up a SB. But a grounder, a K and then fly out. He keeps the shutout intact. Edwards referring to him as "Dubanewicz" several times this inning - and understandably as he is a tall young RHP, last name begins with a D, and Dubanewicz on all of our minds....
  5. @MudcatsfaninBrunsCO - I can't open the attachments. FYI - I went back to try to watch, but no video of Dubanewicz warm up and no mention by Edwards of what - it just sounds like he just started to warm up and called the trainer and after a discussion walked off frustrated. Hoping it was a minor tweak or something. Just so frustrating. And Sam Garcia's frustrating high A season continues. And man does the big league club just need to play winning teams only, they sure seem to play down to some of the lesser weights - they went only 4-2 against the Rockies and sure that's a winning records but that team is barely above .250 on the season, and now on the verge of 2-4 (hopefully only 3-3) against the Marlins.
  6. This has been a few really really rough weeks, heck, no just a tough summer with injuries, feel like we can't catch a break. Yikes
  7. I hear you Mass. I know what I’m asking for - just to hear “yeah they’ll be ok, we just want them fully healthy when they are back but all is good”. And I know if with details we will never be fully reassured, but as a fan that’s what I really want to know- that these kids I’ve watching, rooted for and ‘pencil’ into my 202x brewers line up will be be good to go, good as new, and hopefully even better. Quero injury - ugh. But that is his other shoulder - non-throwing arm, so less long term ramifications I would hope. And amazing Iron Man streak for Chris Mehring. Anyone who watches knows he is totally vested into the team. His excitement is contagious, and you do have to turn the volume down on some of those calls 😃 Seriously. And that team is really a HS / or college freshman squad too, all key players are 18-20 years old. once again great write up. Thanks to Jim, Joseph, Dan and Ben for these detailed and incredibly informative write ups - did I miss someone ?
  8. A who’s who of my early days on this site - Hart, Nelson, Hendrickson, Capellan. I mean of course Fielder and Weeks, and Dave Krynzel too, but I got to learn and read more on guys like that, and like Mitch Stetter, Dennis Sarfate.
  9. Oh please. ‘And another signing. I am hoping for 4-5 “day 3” picks. We know Route, Mills. Expect Coil. And I’d love 2 more - hopefully Hughes and another.
  10. He did have three hits. But the two I saw were a grounder just in the hole between 1B and 2B and the last was bloop into center. He got hits but still not squaring up or hitting as hard. Hoping he can get back to it at the plate.
  11. Darrien Miller on a mini tear. 2 run double tonight for his second hit. Shuckers up 6-1 now in the bottom of 7.
  12. It will be interesting to see - with Underwood not signing, I’m hopeful that the Brewers can sign some “day 3” picks (meaning 11-20 rounders which was previously day 3). They hit well with this approach the past 2 years - wonder if this season doesn’t do they keep that trend or go differently next year?
  13. Wow definitely missed that. Yeah my comment was not directed just at his error. His defense is still going strong, I was more commenting on his offense recently- not much pop and just doesn’t seem to be as dialed in as earlier. Maybe having to shoulder more without Adams or Wilken, or just the grind of the season he has looked different to me the past few weeks
  14. The Mayor says I have it. After a walk puts the go ahead runner on and after a generous strike call, Rada grounds out to Warren. 3-2 win. Woo hoo
  15. It’s a long season I know but Pratt has looked gassed recently. ‘And a wild pitch by Middendorf. Ok. Getting tense now.
  16. Dang. Middendorf get 2 outs on 20 pitches. Then out #3 is an error on the throw by Pratt. Grrr.
  17. Middendorf is in. its all going to be fine just fine 😬
  18. And an error scores Warren. Shuckers now in the lead. Ok.
  19. The mayor heeds my call - Warren with a rbi double 2-2 meanwhile Wisconsin coughs up 5 runs and now down 6-1. They keep finding ways to lose.
  20. Wow - the weight of a potential winless day/night for the organization seems to bringing me down tonight. Hoping Biloxi or Wisconsin can pull out some magic tonight.
  21. Looks like Carolina offense was its usual self - Adamczewski did not play probably a day off? Bjorn Johnson has really been good most of the season, but has some games like today and can’t keep the lead. Wisconsin still not doing much offensively- Blake Burke is still ice cold since the break. M. Rodriguez with a good start but pulled after 5.1 IP, and I didn’t have the game on so I hope it was a pitch count issue and not anything else 🤞 Biloxi also going a little cold offensively. Pratt really hasn’t had much of an impact in a while - long season and the team seems to be in his and Lara’s shoulders. Kuener with a good start at least. After the first inning Patrick seemed to be great with no more walks and only 1 hit allowed through the next 4 innings. Nice bounce back after a rough first. But Nashville bats silent into the bottom of the ninth.
  22. Swing and a miss Fritz get the K. Out#3 and it’s a split of a double header. Shuckers join Mudcats as the only victors tonight.
