  1. TRats get a run, and trying to add more with Peña and Made up. But both K against a 25 year old pitcher in his 2nd year at high A. Against 2 18 year olds in their first week of high A. Man putting it in perspective it’s just amazing what Luis and Jesus are doing.
  2. Childers pitched a heckuva 8th inning. Good command, velocity at 97-98 on his 4 seam. Very nice along with Yeager and Yoho.
  3. And the home plate sounds like he is doing things - lots of chirping and some questionable calls. Looks like Peoria coach ejected for arguing pitches I presume after a strike out. Oh nevermind- there was an automatic pitch violation and strike 3 against the batter. Manager is out. TRats still up, Gillis through 6 solid inning, 6 K and 2 hits What’s that ? Questionable officiating in Nashville. Jacksonville fielder seems to touch the ball in fair territory but called a foul ball - next pitch borderline but probably strike on the edge, game day makes it look legit but seems borderline and Berroa out and Sounds stuck at only 1 run. But hey that is better than 0 runs right?
  4. Hey. Jimmy Herron with a hit and Zamora scores - Bronx cheer mixed with golf clap …. Quickly consults the rule book - yes in fact the Sounds are allowed to score in a game. Glad we got that rule clarified 🙄
  5. Sounds at 20 innings without a run. That is insane 😳 In the 7th and still scoreless.
  6. 14 th pitch ball 4. Wow nice at bat Hedbert. Seeing it well and fouling off tough pitches. Sure would be nice if Hedbert got hot. Kickstart with Pena, Made and get that offense going consistently.
  7. Hedbert in a battle. 11 pitches.
  8. So after all of that - no Tobias nor Tobias tonight
  9. Made! wow 1st high A homer 111 EV no doubter to RF
  10. Ok gonna have to watch some games here soon. Gillis with a very decent outing so far.
  11. Alright. Checks scores and TRats are up 5-0. Hit dog Shuckers in delay Sounds - ready for it - are being shut out 😵‍💫😞 ‘And a blow up 4 run innings for Stallings after Rob Z successful rehab inning. Down 6-0
  12. OK. Good to know, I had interpreted that wrong. Thanks
  13. Can we offer him a QO? There is a mutual option for 2026 - I thought those were exempt from QO - and thus a draft pick? Or maybe I am completely wrong.
  14. I thought Joseph did - but honestly I didn't read it right away, just saw DeBerry, and it wasn't until last night it hit me. 🙄 But you have been on a roll recently with the headlines!! Love 'em
  15. Right I think this allows the team to rotate the 8th/9th inning between those three which *should* keep them fresher for the rest of the year, as Miller has closed games this season. And that bumps everyone else back, so fewer outings or less high leverage outings for Mears, Koenig and Anderson who have performed well, but they can be the 6th/7th inning guys or late innings in less close games. Again, assuming health, and everyone continues to perform as they have this year.
  16. "Myers Gets a Start. Tobias, Too!" Very clever, Jim. I had to do a double take on that one. Too bad we don't have a Griffin pitching in our system.
  17. Welp. 1-2 night on the farm. DeBerry surprising as the star pitcher tonight, outshining Patrick and M. Rodriguez who both had uncharacteristic outings. Sounds and T-Rats combine for as many hits as the Shuckers have. T-Rats can be entertaining and exciting the next few weeks with the promotions, and possible return of Dinges and possible debut of Fischer.
  18. Castillo grounds out, and T-Rats lose. Dang.
  19. Hedbert with a hit. Castillo up - let's see if he can create some magic.
  20. Manuel Rodriguez a very un-Manuel like night - lots of hits although pitch count not unreasonable. I think he will be better next turn around. Made and Pena fly out. It's up to Hedbert. Be a good time for him to start to get hot again.
  21. Made saves Yerlin. Bases loaded, and a nice play to field it and a good throw, and over to first. Inning ending DP. Yerlin is so tantalizing with his stuff, but just cannot command it enough. Maybe he will learn, because if he does he is an electric reliever. But just misses too much right now. You have it in you Yerlin, and I want to believe you can be another in a long line of homegrown stud relievers, but a few big steps to get through for now. On delay but heading to the 9th and T-Rats still down 6-4.
  22. It's Yerlin time in Peoria. I gotta step away for a minute, but we will see which Yerlin it is tonight, although 3-0 to the first batter, so yikes.
  23. T-Rats had something going, But a weak strikeout by Guilarte - man the at bats I've watched from him have not been the best. Then a blood fly and a great catch by the CF robs Diaz of a hit. 6-4 Peoria still leads.
  24. Catching up but Pratt 1-2 with 3 walks, that's encouraging. Burke with a big double. DeBerry's numbers look good sounds like some ups and down, but very encouraging for him. He has been the victim of a big inning, and sounds like the 1st was that inning for him but survived with only 1 run allowed, then buckled down.
  25. Well. The Shuckers close it out. Middendorf made it interesting. But 8-4 win Sounds are soundly losing. Wiener 5, rest of his team 4, Sounds 0.. ugh
