  1. And we are on to the bottom of the 9th in Wisconsin and down 2-0. Rally time boys!!!
  2. ACL Crew offense turns it up. Renz with an atypical 4 inning outing, 4 runs (3ER) on 3 hits and 2 BB and a WP. So on,y 6 base runners (1 via an error) but 4 score. The Brew Crew score 4 in the first but get another 3 runs in the 4th/5th. Now up 7-5. Espinal in trying to hold the lead.
  3. Wow Melvin Hernandez with two stellar outings in a row. 7 IP! 4K, 0 BB. Mudcats with 13 hits in offense and all starters getting hits except Anderson (but only 1K for him so that’s still growth right?) Shuckers bats go pretty quiet. 6 hits for the night total. Only 3 Shuckers reach base twice (Murray 2 walks, Spain 2 hits and Pratt walk+hit). Cornielle delivers what looks like a night that encapsulates his season, 5 IP but 86 pitches to get there, 2 ER, 3 BB, 3K, so a good night but not excellent nor was it bad. Very Alexander Cornielle, which is not a knock, he is what he is and I still see a very reliable pitcher and the most likely DSL pitcher to contribute to the MLB in the near future. Sounds win again. Zimmerman with maybe one of his best starts as a Sound, and the offense mostly driven by Dunn, Dalbec and Vaughn who all HR’d. TRats are really quiet offensively - only 3 hits thru 8. Down 2-0 so the pitching was good, but just 3 measly hits, no XBH and 3 walks to 9 K. Yikes. Trying to keep it 2-0 in the 9th and hope for some offensive awakening in the 9th maybe please? It will be Areinamo, Dinges and Burke up if Langhorne can help, keep it 2–0.
  4. Kind of expected news on Wilken. Real bummer. Can he go to the AFL this fall again? Or would he want to?? Given the speculation on promotion, I would imagine he is AAA bound next season? This changes his timeline for darkhorse MLB promotion end of this year and likely early call up next, to a mid-season to 2027 MLB debut I would guess given that he will have a lot of timing to work out again, and needs to prove he can avoid really random injuries (I will not call him injury prone as the eye injury and this injury are very random, unrelated and fluke)
  5. Every time I hear them talk about Childers dad and uncle, it makes me feel old as I remember when they were prospects in the system ... oh .... checks notes ... a few years ago ... like late 90s and early 00s. Or just before or around the time I found the first iteration of this website/forum.
  6. Yikes that went from close game (1-0) to oh no (5-0) back to close game (5-3) to yikes (10-3). I will go out on a limb and say that Aldrin’s next outing will go better.
  7. ACL Crew still hitless in Phoenix Aldrin Gonzalez stateside debut did not go as well as he would have hoped. Gives up 4 runs. ‘But hey Jadyn Fielder says “hitless no more” with a single
  8. Restituyo has an eventful trip to the LF corner but makes the catch. Childers does his job! 12 pitches, 10 strikes for save #7. woo hoo
  9. Dang. Well hit ball and a very nice catch by … workinger. Ugh that man. At least he leads off the inning so the worst he can do is tie it. Would love to see him retired.
  10. Man Suckers are not getting a read on this reliever (former MLB pitcher) And in the desert- Mercedes is pitching well. But the offense that went crazy the other night is being held hitless again thru 5. EDIT: Ha! Again auto correct made it Suckers instead of Shuckers which is fitting given the lacks of hits again.
  11. Extras in Columbus as its bonus baseball for Shuckers and Clingstones
  12. Yes sir. And I can get used to that DSL ‘24 trio getting multi hit games (I mean Peña and Made do that already boy it would be nice to see Anderson start to get on base consistently). Is it me or does he look like he less overwhelmed at the plate?
  13. Yup he (Workinger) feasts on the Shuckers. Wow. And this is the 3rd time they play each other (7-6 Shuckers lead so far) and it had been the road team in this series typically let's see if that hold true tonight and the next few nights. Biloxi lost series 2-4 in Biloxi home opener week Biloxi took 5 of 6 in Columbus to start that great winning streak
  14. Ethan Workinger has absolutely killed the Shuckers - he hit how many HR in that last series?? (the one that started the amazing offense roll the Shuckers had been on) Hunt is not the same guy we saw last year. Not sure what can help him out, but he has those flashes, and then a walk or a couple of hittable pitches and the game goes sidewides for him.
  15. Wow. Walked away for 20 minutes and Hunt went from cruising to not And Muddies got some offense going.
  16. Yeah it’s really Lara and Pratt. Murray has been good recently. But boy would it be nice to se Boeve start to hit. Kinda like Carolina with two 18 year old trying to keep the offense going, two 20 year old are now the main offensive focus of the Biloxi line up.
  17. I will take 2 IP by M. Rodriguez back from his IL stint and the offensive production from the top 5 in the TRats lineup. I will ignore the bullpen implosion (Root was very dependable last year if I remember correctly) And Nashville, not the sharpest outing by Henderson, but he got to the 6th with a lead, and the offense did get 10 hits. A normally reliable bullpen was atypical today, but still eked out a win. Oh and a couple of young pitchers faced off in Milwaukee, wonder if anyone followed that game 😁 So is 19 K and only 2 runs and 3 hits allowed (sure 7 BB) in your first 16 IP over 3 starts OK? Asking for a friend...
  18. Broca closes the door. TRats come from behind win in a game they had no right being in Az Brew Crew get hits - 9 hits through top of 4th, wait 10 hits. 4-0. Nice offensive showing by the baby crew. Fun fact - Max Durrington plays for the ACL A’s - Trent Durrington’s son OK calling it a night. Both Wisconsin teams win. Otherwise not a lot of offense outside of Wisconsin, the desert and the one DSL club.
  19. Good things tonight - Hardin 6IP, only 1 R, and 6K for Biloxi in a loss that would have made the ‘24 Shuckers “proud”. Nice pitching though. Pena keeps hitting- and I can’t tell if I’m upset that Made/Pena can’t take this team on their shoulders offensively without Dinges/Adamczewski and with Payne hurt/struggling and Bitonti struggling. Or if I’m happy that Made/Pena are holding their own as very young 18 year olds with the weight on the team on their shoulders? Areinamo-Dinges-Burke 4-12 with only 1 K and driving in 4 of the 7 runs. Broca in for the ninth….
  20. Sorry, Perkins singles but Quintana - who is coming alive - with the RBI single. 3-0. Montero grounds out to end the half inning.
  21. Baby steps. Woessner gets a scoreless inning if relief and is given a lead. But goes single, GIDP, walk, single and can’t finish the 8th. Broca WP and then 2run 2 out single. 7-6 TRats still lead. On to bottom of 8 AZ Crew getting some hits and runs. Encarnacion with a run double. Then Perkins with a single. 3-0 Brew Crew in the desert.
  22. Oh crap @Joseph Zarr - I keep forgetting you watch on delay. But I guess if you don’t want spoiler alerts ignore my updates 😂
