  1. Yup went back to watch, and GameDay is correct. Those pitches WERE definitely in the ZONE. And then he finally gets the out. Phew. Tightrope here. EDIT: Sorry meant to write more. Grounder to Boeve and he throws to Middendorf who just beats the runner. Tightrope, but he escapes.
  2. Middendorf truly squeezed by the home plate ump here. Not on you Ryan. But still need to get the next guy, and maybe a favorable call here.
  3. Ugh. Walks in a run. Just missed a strike call on "ball 3" sheesh. Next pitch a ball? Not sure I agree with that. But not executing here. Need to get the out here Middendorf.
  4. but a GIDP makes it like it didn't happen right? 😉
  5. Vaughn - grand slam. 9-0 Sounds!! Ho hum. Crush the cubs Murray makes a nice play on the ball but can't get the runner at first, and bases loaded in Biloxi. Middendorf in after Mendoza Ks the 2nd out, and he induced what almost would have been the inning ending grounder. Need to get the next man. Let's go Ryan
  6. Glued to the Shuckers game. It's one out and a runner on. Now two on and only 1 out. C'mon Abdiel let's get out of this, no more runners. But in the desert Tobias goes 3U 3D ( to quote @sveumrules and someone else??) with 2 more Ks in the 3rd. And Sounds trying to extend the lead, 5-0 after a Quero single. Only one out and bases juiced. Dalbec Ks. But still a chance score more.
  7. And Pratt grounds it up the middle, and it's a "double" (no one covers second base), the CF then throws it late and Spain tries to score and runs out of the basepath to avoid the tag, and he is ruled out. But it's a 2 run hit (officially a double on a grounder up the middle), and I wanted to be greedy and get rewarded - it's 7-4 Shuckers, Yes sir!!
  8. Adams pops out to third. Boeve pops out to short. And two down, Up to Pratt to try to extend the lead. Dang they have a lead, but I want more, is that greedy?
  9. Spain!!! Alright. Shuckers back in the lead. Single to right, 5-4 lead.
  10. Myers with 6 shutout solid innings against a cubs affiliate. Elvin is in the building now. Let's beat Cubbies anywhere and everywhere please please please
  11. Yeah his melt down inning way way back is still stuck in my mind. I guess with Dikember and Yerlin still having the yips I just assumed Anfernny did too. He has been very good in June. I will apologize to Mr. Reyes
  12. And 3 straight strikes and Carolina call game. THAT's how you end a losing streak. Alright. And Dubanewicz his first A ball win!! Woohoo
  13. Seppings closes out the win in West Michigan, DeBerry should have the win. And the offense driven by Areinamo, Dinges and a Garcia - let's just believe it's the CF Yhoswar
  14. And to calm my nerves, Stanley calls on .... Anfernny Reyes 😲
  15. OK. C'mon EThan 1 strike away from ending the game, he gives up a triple. Tying run on third. See - spoke to soon. DO NOT let me watch the Mudcats I am the jinx. 😉
  16. Dang long day at work, and I miss one of the best minor league nights in the past few weeks. T-Rats offense going crazy to help DeBerry with a nice start. And look at those lines of the ACL "D" twins of Dubanewicz and Dorchies, beautiful thing to see them throwing scoreless innings and the Muddies having some offensive output. Maybe I have to STOP watching or following for Payne to break OUT of his slump. And Brock Wilken - career high in HRs - and still half a season to go. Alright young man. And I rarely follow the Sound, but hey they are up 4-0 on a Dalbec bomb. Beating Cubs at ANY level is a good things - let's go Nashville.
  17. That makes 6 prospects in BA's top 100. Pretty good.
  18. Or like a three year average or composite, as the Brewers clubs have been good (or really good in '24) for a few years top to bottom. Still top 3 in overall records for the organization, and this year feels like a "down" year. Yeah I know expectations...
  19. Gonna throw it out again - any one see/hear anything to explain Bitonti’s absence the past 4 games?
  20. Add on run in the top of the 9th, and a 1-2-3 for Childers in the 9th, and a 14-8 final! Laughably it is Mark Manfredi as the winning pitcher.
  21. And Tyler Bryant answers the bell. Ground out, 4-pitch walk, then K and a 3 pitch strike! On to the 9th, Shuck Yeah!
  22. Lara with a lead off double then scores on an errant pick off attempt. 13-8. But 3 Ks to Wilken/Warren/Miller. On to the bottom of 8 - let's just get some outs here and no craziness please! Thanks for linking that post @Ro Mueller and thanks for the insight @Spencer Michaelis Odd if they were angry at 1B Ibarra and chirping at him, they "throw" at the guy before him (2B PItelli) in the line up, give up a HR to Ibarra, and then 2 batters later (C Hunter). Would have to see if the 2B or C were involved in the hoopla around the Shuckers homers.
  23. And lost in all of this is Brock Wilken with another HR. His 17th this season along with 15 doubles, which is exactly what he did last year in about 60% of the games/ABs. Next HR will set his personal records for HRs in a season. And look at that - Luke Adams 11th HR, ties his season high which has done exactly twice, 11 HR in 2023 at Carolina, and 11 HR in 2024 at Wisconsin. Boeve is at 4 HR, and he had 5 HR in '23 and 6 in '24.
  24. Bryant comes in and throws a wild pitch. This 7th inning has been pretty wild. And gets a ground out. Runner on 3rd with 2 outs. And Bryant Ks the next batter to end the threat. Phew. It's 12-8, but man that was crazy with the top of the inning and then the weirdness in the bottom. Hope Manfredi is OK, because that is just bizarre to be that wild. Unless there was bush league stuff going on (I haven't watched the game or a lot of the series to know if there was beef with those hitters??)
  25. And Manfredi is indeed ejected. For his second HBP in the inning I would presume and the fact it was over his head (glancing the helmet). Not sure what happened, first I worry for Manfredi as an injury since that was just an awful sequence - HBP, HR, K, HBP. And Ayrault is tossed. 3 Chattanooga player/coaches, and 2 Biloxi player/coaches ejected in the past 5 minutes.
