  1. Hey hey hey, Matthew Woods in his first AA, gets the runner at second. Very clutch caught stealing. Now 2 outs and no one on. Let's get this guy Yeager, c'mon only one guy to get out now.
  2. Stolen base (on what should have been strike 2, but was called a ball) and then the next pitch is a base hit to right. And it's a 4-3 game. C'mon Yeager, let's get some outs here.
  3. OK first pitch was a clear strike, called ball 1. And Yeager is not in as much control. He winds up walking the first batter. Never a successful recipe. C'mon Yeager let's go Shuckers!!
  4. It is in fact Yeager (who if he can get the 3 outs here has to feel like he's a step away from AAA right?) Let's see if we can preserve this 2 run lead.
  5. OK. I'll have to be content with just the 1 insurance run as Restituyo flies out to right and strands Spain and Vargas. On to the 9th, and likely Yeager or maybe Childers to try to close it out?
  6. Spain singles to left and Warren scores. It's 4-2 game now. 2 down and Vargas up. Still would be OK with more insurance runs....
  7. OK. Matthew Wood is up with Biloxi and is catching, and Darrien Miller covers 1st base tonight. But Wood and Miller are nearly twins, being born about a week apart (3/2/01 vs 3/10/01), both 5'10" 190ish and both left handed hitter and right handed throwers. Slow inning, runner on 2nd and only 1 out.
  8. Abdiel Mendoza comes in a pitches a 4 up, 3 down (1 hit) inning with 2 K. On to the bottom of 8 clinging to a 3-2 lead. You know what would sound good about now? An insurance run (or runs) by the Shuckers. I mean that would sound really good about now.
  9. Super slow slider at 81mph gets Wilken swinging to end the inning. But right before that, Lara who had singled, runs to steal second and the ump calls likes it strike 3 on Wilken, the catcher throws it to center and Lara to third base. It was only strike #2. But after a short break, that super slow slider gets Brock to end this inning. Still Shuckers up 3-2. On to the 8th.
  10. Leave it to the Cubs. I mean Uecker is totally a Brewers name and is synonymous with Brewers baseball. So of course they draft a guys named Ueckert 🙄
  11. 96 lower outer part of the strike zone - borderline pitch - and Manfredi gets it for a K. 2 outs now. Manfredi is looking good in his current role. .... Wait - let me say that again - Manfredi is struggling and needs to pull it together. And he gets a deep fly out for out #3. Alright, good job.... I mean you stink Manfredi
  12. Manfredi is in, and gets the first guy out. Crow goes a full 6IP which is encouraging, no walks, and 2 K. So a decent outing and encouraging he gets through 6. T-Rats in a delay still
  13. Hello! Matt Wood with a walk. Then a Spain 360 ft fly into left and it's a 2 run HR. Shuckers now lead! 3-2. Shuck yeah! T-Rats in rain delay.
  14. WILKEN HR! Or A Brocket lol Tatooed deep to left. 11th HR. 105 EV and 418 ft per the broadcast.
  15. Yerlin came in for Dikember, and gave up a hit, gets two outs and another hit, and it was tied 6-6. But overall Yerlin gets 5 Ks in those 2 innings. And Guilarte with a walk and SB, Garcia single and it's a 7-6 TRats lead. Biloxi still down 2-0, as Crow was getting a little bit as Joseph alluded to earlier.
  16. Hey alright! I'll keep staying away from GameDay for a little while longer and see if that voodoo magic will get us more than a walk, I won't say what we want, but even with a walk I believe it is a no-hitter, but not supposed to say no-hitter out loud because it may mess up with the pitcher pitching the no-hitter and wouldn't want to do that would we?
  17. And a grand slam against and it's 6-5. Ugh. Crow getting hit and giving up runs. And Carolina being no-hit. I may have to call it a night....
  18. Ugh and Dikember doing "Dikember '25" things and not "Dikember '24" things - walk the lead off hitter, another and a hit and it's 6-1. He gave a, no make that 2 SBs, and another walk this inning. Base loaded in the bottom of 5, and given how T-Rats have blown some leads, the six run lead they had did not feel as cushy as it should be.
  19. Nope. 7 innings of perfect pitching by the F-Nats. I'd be happy with a walk or a base hit. I'd really be happy with some runs, but gotta walk (or hit) before you can (score a) run
  20. No hitter watch for F-Nats. Sheesh. Nothing going even after Sykora exits the game. Perfect game I think for Fredericksburg.
  21. Yet another 1-2-3 for Dorchies. And that’s game. 5-1 Dorchies 42 pitches for 30 strikes. Hitting 92.x in his final inning.
  22. Another 1-2-3 inning. Dorchies 35 pitches, 24 strikes. 3 K, 1 H, 0 BB in 3 IP
  23. 1-2-3 for Dorchies. Slider and 93 mph fastballs.
  24. Yeah Dorchies isn’t just touching 95, he hit 94.x on 6 of his 16 pitches (10 -11 fastballs by my count). Sure one inning but that’s a good sign for his velo.
  25. Handelfry (so is is pronounced “handle free” or “hand el-free)hits a grand slam. And it’s 5-1. Hurrah
