Happy 30th Birthday Rickie!!! Keep them coming! -
Cardinals lose.
-
"Can't stand ya!"
-
Wow. That is crazy. How many times has Rickie been HBP? Atta boy Taylor!!!
-
Really nice job by Marco tonight. It'd be a shame if... well... never mind.
-
C'mon Braunie! Let's get to Hudson here. He's been pretty stingy so far... Edit: Rats.
-
Don't want to jinx it, but Estrada's doing a nice job.
-
Segura safe with "panache?" Nice Joe. Edit: Nice Jean. Don't do that again. Panache doesn't keep you from getting picked off.
-
Atta boy Rickie!!!
-
To extra innings, unbelievable! Any word on Braun yet?
-
In play, run(s)!!!!!
-
Ueck and Joe are still waiting from the Brewers for a word on Hart, and I have no idea why Roenicke lifted Braun in the 6th. No apparent injury to him.
-
Why did RRR replace Braun with Schafer in the 6th???
-
Thanks for the cheese mojo! Good night.
-
Thank you Ryan Braun!

Aramis Ramirez to Brewers - 3/$32 + $4M buyout for 2015
Spidey replied to Outlander's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I disagree, I think he has looked excellent defensively... It seems that there are a handful of people out there that can't admit that he has done a great job on defense... Is the fact that he was once a Cub clouding people's judgement? I hated the guy as a Cub, but have fully embraced him as a Brewer, both offensively and defensively. The guy has filled in for Prince in the line-up pretty much without missing a beat! It was a great signing, glad we didn't trade him so we have some pop coming into next season too. I will admit: I absolutely hated the signing, and still do, BUT it's pretty much because I just dislike the guy. (always called him "the lizard" because of his tongue-sticking-out habit) I will admit that he's been very good both offensively and especially defensively this season. I do wish that they traded him to LAD for something though. I do still think he might be an injury liability in the next two years, plus I am biased (as I freely admit), the Cubs taint is just too strong to overcome... -

Please, please, please, please, please, please let FOX not renew their deal with MLB. I just can't take anymore Tim McCarver calling the World Series! I just can't! It would be SO refreshing to have CBS or ABC or anyone else do it and hear Costas or anyone else call an intelligent World Series. I beg the baseball TV gods! Only 2 more years! -
OOOH! I REALLY like how this was worded, so I'll second this motion.
-
Thanks, I got a good chuckle out of that for some reason.
-
Well, I for one, would care. I'd like to see the Brewers win more games than they lose for pure enjoyment. Try telling Pirates fans that .500 doesn't matter.
-
No, with 28 games remaining, they would need to go to 16-12 to end at .500. They are 4 under.
-
I'm sorry but reverse-jinxing does not work. I've tried it repeatedly, and it's no use.
-
Right. Also, a new one from Ueck: "Take a ride on THAT one!" Sweet.
-
Ueck on Rickie's homer: "and the Pirates' pitching coach, Ray Searage, is coming out to look at the hole in the scoreboard." Hee Hee.
