  1. Nice Liz...good feeling.
  2. Good post by Augie. I'm not sure if the sample size is big enough (had to say that), but unless I'm reading it wrong I see a decline in all these players in day V night games. We know from the players they site the shadow issue. Evening fun could factor in (no way to measure that) and could be just that this group of players just 'play better' in the evening. Same routine, et al.
  3. Burnie...are you kidding on the WHIP stuff? If not, FJM needs to return.
  4. Today would be one of the days I'd like opressive sunshine. Let's go YO. Need another win before heading to Wrigley.
  5. Major Burns helping out the M*A*S*H unit that is the Brewer starting rotation.
  6. I just paid off my very last student loan I will ever have....ever...at least 'till my daughter hits college.
  7. Maybe it's simply that there are more bodies to coach him @ the ML-level. Not saying I agree with Mat being here and sitting...just wonder if that is the thought process by DM, et al.
  8. 14-12. Hanging in there...
  9. Yoshii8; I recall that day (8 years ago) for my daughter well. I know it was a good experience for her, but still...
  10. I know next to nothing about Soccer, but I did follow this game. From what I could tell, Brazil is pretty good.
  11. A sweep would have been nice, but 2 of 3 against SF isn't that bad considering how things were going.
  12. Meeks will have to extend his range. If he can shoot the 3 @ the NBA-level, he will be a nice addition.
  13. I'm just guessing, but you could see both JJ and Hart being moved in the off-season. Nice to have Casey and Mat to cover 3rd and 2nd, espically if Rickie can't start the year 100%.
  14. The best part of Casey is that he isn't doing this for the Scrubs.
  15. The only option (that I see/saw) would have been an off-season deal involving Hardy. That too would have been a risk an I'm not sure what quality a starter he could have netted. DM, et al did sign Looper as a FA and thank goodness they did. Some credit needs to be rewarded for that decision.
  16. Meeks "could" be a really nice NBA player given the correct role (shooting the ball) and he extends his range to beyond the 3pt line. Value for the pick here should end up being pretty impressive. I'm guessing Sessions might be moving on.
  17. I guess I've thought in the NBA draft you just take what you think is the best player on the board at your spot and go from there. I know other drafts where multiple players make your team or system might be different, but since fewer then 1/2 of the guys picked even stick 3 years; you have to take talent regardless of position.
  18. Dumping Simmons (as you say) was a very up-side to the Yi deal. As far as next year...I suspect the Bucks will wins some game (if Redd and Bogut can play) but stuggle to score and depth will be an obvious issue. But, with lower 1/2 of the East, you never know.
  19. The only real downside of this deal is that the Bucks ended up taking a #1 (Yi) and turned it into this.
  20. I'm torn about bringing CV or Sessions back. If Ersan comes back and Flynn is there at ten (Boy, it would be great if the Wizzards want Redd for their #5) I wonder if the Bucks would just be better off w/o CV and Sessions. Get thru one more season and they have all the salary cap room you could ask for.
  21. I'll disagree a bit in that the PG's project to be available @ #10 (Flynn seemingly the best one) would be more then an adequate replacement for Sessions an a player the team would have under control for 3 years.
  22. I like walks because they are not strikeouts or double plays.
  23. But Ennder, if you know what posters are going to say (and it can't be prevented) why be frustrated? I have taken that approach with watching Billy Hall hit. I'm convinced he will (and must) try to pull everything and must strike out doing so. Anything that exceeds this level of performance is simply an unexpected blessing.
  24. Another arm for the rotation is going to be hard to come by. I wonder if DM might look a different route and see what could be added to the pen to replace Seth (assuming he goes to the rotation) and possibly another bat?
