    I moved a few days ago and have no TV/internet sevice until Thursday. Glad that I have after-hours access to "the office" for my BF fix.

    I'd like to keep Luke too because of the contract. I also think he can play some, but if it comes down to either him or Sessions; Luke would have to go I guess. I kind of like how the roster is coming together. They at least will have some athletes. That makes it much, much easier to play defense.

    No kidding, I shut the TV off with one out in the top of the 9th and went to bed...Needless to say I was stunned by the score this AM. Bad outcome, but sounds like a fun process was had before the final. Why did Coffey go 3 innings?

    Anyone with "Hawk." I'd play the "anyone with Joe Morgan" card, but that would be to easy. I really can't stand "Circle me Bert" either.

    Any thought or chance that Ryan and Prince each move up a spot in the batting order? It might be kind of fun to see both get a 1st inning AB and would be a way to increase their overall AB's over 2010. Rickie could hit #1 or (really outside the box) Rickie hits #4 and Gamel hits #5...

    I'd support as many as these "vet deals to a contender" as DM could put together. Maybe not Hoffman if he is going to be class A, but still something to consider.

    I'd take 3 division titles in 8 years... Those Texas teams ran into the Yankees when they were really flying high.

    I guess you place more value on those two then I do. They would be nice to have I guess, but I didn't see either as worth anything long-term that ties up money (again). I view those two as more Charlie Bell and Tim Thomas then difference makers.

    Really, this trade takes one spot (4) where there might have been some extra guys and give insurance for the 1 and 2; as well as some upgraded practice competition. That part, I think, gets under-looked. So, I see this as an overall upgrade of talent. Does add money, but nothing that should really matter much in the end.

    I love Robin like everyone does, but at the time they signed him I sort of thought they were choosing between him and Paul. I just thought they were making the wrong call. Robin wasn't wrong with what he said, but let's not forget his tank was pretty dry, too. Just throwing this out there; but I've wondered before if both Robin and the 'Crew might have been better off if Yount would have signed with California when he had a chance.

    Robin was also 1+ years into not being very productive. I'm sure I'll get flamed, but it has been a bone of contention for me a long time that the 'Crew chose to keep him over Paulie.

    I don't mind it, actually. Just seems to me if you are going to do that (pitcher 8) then do it all year. It doesn't become a better idea 2/3 of the way thru the season.
