These games make me fondly recall the great style of the AL years. Someone use to post here that he was pro-DH and pro-artificial turf. This kind of series would have been up his ally. Other note, does Eric Wedge try? I'm not sure what he really did this series that had any outcome on anything.
"The youngest son of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il secretly visited China last week and his hosts were told he had been appointed heir to the ruling family dynasty, Japan's Asahi newspaper reported on Tuesday." ...I was hoping to land this gig. Guess my resume didn't hold up.
Yea, you are right. I'm just fustrated with him. Have (had) high expectations for him to really step in to a key role this year. Espically with his age and the years that we have him under control. Guys like this are keys to keeping things rolling and not having to dip into the FA market for starters.
Bucks, I saw that too. I shared with Hawing that on the way out, Sox and 'Crew fans had a group-hate of some clowns walking around in Cubs gear. Hate can bond. While it worked out, leaving Soup in to hit was curious.
When Michigan wanted to join the union they were a bit light in the needed population. So, they carved up a bit of turf that was closest but yet un-organized. Thus, the UP was born. My geek history teacher stuff coming out.
I was thinking the same thing about the Nats. Does Pittsburgh really draw that far south? I grew up in the EC area. Always have been a 'Crew fan, but I understand how many of my (stupid) peers when 'the other way.' With the media market and travel being tilted towards The Cities.
I wonder if the WIAC Baseball conference will seek to do something different now that they are down to 6 teams? Maybe look to a merge or at least a scheduling agreement with the Northern Sun or whatever league that runs thru Northern Illinois.
