This is to easy, but lets bobble the greats of '02. First up, Alex Sanchez. Got to bobble Ruben as well.

New White Stripes. Very neat stuff.

Bobble of all the managers. I want the Jim Lefebvre.

Why did Luther get the axe? I'm grasping at straws, but thought that he might be a sept call up.

    How about Shouse?

I agree that Gabe got the short end of the stick when Hall got moved to the OF. I'd say that it is a bit overstated that DM has mishandled Gross. I'd have sent him down sooner in order to play, or really tried to move Geoff. Maybe Doug did do that but couldn't find any takers. I am glad that DM didn't give Gross away.

    ...and if I had a 5th, I'd be drunk.

Great point about being happy with the play on the field. If the 'Crew was playing well but 5 games out, could enjoy that. This is...man. They are being run down by teams that, I though, were inferior to Milwaukee. Guess not. Play well and lose, no worries. This play crappy stuff... It's the end of the world an all western civilization...

    I'm against all learning.

When I hear from people how busy or stressed they are. Um... get in line? Unless I'm related to you and have to care...get over yourself. Want stress? Try being on the space shuttle that has a fracken hole in it, or the miners in Utah...or be in Iraq...

...man if this is true and the Cubs STILL pass us...I might jump out that same window the Cubs fans have lined up.

I'm sure you are pretty close to correct, Joe. Still, pretty impressive for Ankiel to be able to do this. Says a lot about the athlete that he is.

Crazy. God luck to Rick, save next T-W-Th. He is Brooks 2.0.

If I remember right, the Crew had just locked up Yount the year before. In effect it was Robin or Paul. As we know long term, Paulie was much more produtive from this point on, however if Yount would have left, the city would have still been smoldering. ...and we got the Kevin Reimer Era.

I wonderd the same thing last night. Might have been a sign of desperation on my part, but I was wondering if Johnny was part of the pitching problems. Guess it is hard to identify as pointed out. However, I did assume that Miller would get more of the load as the season unfolded and that Estrada was getting the lions share of the work early in the year to keep Miller fresh for the finish.

Can I be the first to play the 'must win' card for tonights game?

Would be great if Braun, Prince and Corey can be locked down, long-term. Throw in Yo (and maybe CV) and go from there. Might not be a lot of cash left after this... I'm old enough that when I saw this thread, Fred Lynn and Mark Fidrych came to mind. Remember being jacked to see them on Monday Night Baseball.

Ive gotten to the point where I just trytoavoidthe bobble games, just like the Cubs games. Bring back those weekday evening game against the Expos.

I assume he would be added to the playoff roster? Not sure howthat works if you are on the DL? Do you have to be added by the 31st? I'm sure there is some strange rule that addresses this without a player who is hurt having to actually be on the active roster.

Life would be a lot more fun if we could do that. My wife makes something crappy to eat, "BOOOOOO." My daughter colors outside the lines, "BOOOOOOOOOOOO." ...I like it.

It's baseball. Never know what is going to happen. Case in point, this season. Winning tonight would make lots feel better. See what shakes I guess. Little off-topic, but still being in first is not a bad thing. As far as how to win, well if the 'Crew is plays sound baseball...that would sure help.

Guess my deal was using Wise in that situation. If he is going to work things out @ the Major League level, fine. Let him do so in games that have been pretty much decided. The Mets give us opportunities to do so. I have an issue with CoCo in 3 straight games, but what do I know.
  24. davego
Part of the game I guess. Be it 'good' or not, might slow the Cubs a bit. That said, if the 'Crew wins the games they need to win, doesn't matter what the Cubs do.

I really like the new (or any) White Stripes.
