  1. Brewers will at the very least have a share of 1st place at months end. After a tough month and all the injuries, that's a heck of an accomplishment. Take that all you nay sayer! LET'S GOOOOOOO
  2. We have to go back until 2016 to find a losing April. This year we are guaranteed to have a winning April again.
  3. With tonight's win, I am happily wrong on my prediction even if we lose out.
  4. His location wasn't always spot on but Devin was fooling everybody with it if it was a strike or on the edge.
  5. Between Brinson, Aguilar and others I always forget we are pretty much facing the Florida Brewers
  6. Fun Stats. Brewers gave up the same number of runs on Friday compared to the 8 other games against the Cubs. Even with Friday's shellacing, the Brewers still outscored the Cubs, 38 to 30.
  7. Certainly makes me appreciate the Brewers finishing off the games they "should" win.
  8. I remember feeling embarrassed cheering for Sexie in front of my parents growing up when Sexson would hit a bomb.
  9. Brewers have now won 4 of the last 5 series. LET'S GOOOOO!
  10. I can assure you that Yadi is still plenty despised. I got smoked in the chest once by a foul ball from Yadi. That'll teach me to get tickets right on the first base line. But yea, Yadi will always be my #1 enemy.
  11. You could easily slide that article in the optimism thread too.
  12. Nothing can beat 2004 Sheets as far as lack of run support for a whole year. I'm going on a limb it won't be that bad.
  13. It seems the (vocal) opinion on the Braves forum is that this was a slight overpay on their end.
  14. They said on the crossover Atlanta has only 4 position players on their bench at the moment.
  15. Coming into today the Brewers are 3-8 on Opening Day since 2010. Opening day hasn't been friendly to the Brew Crew lately.
  16. NL Central Standings: Brewers: 86-76 Cardinals 86-76 Cubs: 82-80 Reds 81-81 Pirates 70-92 Brewers win Game 163 in St Louis
  17. 13-13 with going 2-7 against the scrubs and 11-6 against the rest.
  18. It certainly shouldn't have ended badly for Michigan. They were 7-0 in Boroski-reffed games before the Elite 8. UW, on the other hand, was 0-7 in Boroski games, 10-3 in non-Boroski games. Here are Big 10 teams' records in BoBo games. The number in parentheses is the difference in winning percentage in the rest of their games. I got the numbers off of Buckyville, and the poster on Buckyville got them from Bart Torvik. Michigan 7-0 (-30%) Iowa 4-1 (-13%) OSU 4-1 (-27%) Illinois 5-2 (+13%) Purdue 4-2 (+3%) Rutgers 3-2 (-13%) PSU 2-2 (-17%) NW 2-2 (-23%) MD 2-3 (+7%) Indiana 2-3 (-4%) Minnesota 1-4 (+13%) Nebraska 0-2 (+18%) Michigan State 0-5 (+60%) Wisconsin 0-7 (+77%) I know statistically there will be variations and its still a relatively small sample size but that does seem outside the noise for Bucky.
  19. I watch that one and Schoop's granny, quite regularly.
  20. I do not have anything to add but to say this: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
