  1. Not to make light of your situation. I got half way through your post and thought "there's no Hurricane Hawing'
  2. I watched the live stream on Facebook of the shooting in Kenosha last night. Props to the Media guy for stopping being a journalist and helped in the triage but Holey Smokes, Batman. That footage gave me nightmares last night.
  3. Burnes and Brewers battling with baseballs against Brubaker and the baffling Buccaneers
  4. It's probably going to be a wild last week all around MLB
  5. If I got my timeline correct, the comment was made during the pregame to the 2nd game, and the apology was made in the 5th.
  6. Historically (as one can get) Braun Yeli and Gyorko have done well against Lester specifically.
  7. Is it too early/cynical to start a pool on how the player probably contracted it?
  8. It's always been a nitpick of mine. My zip is 534-zero-3, not 534-oh-3
  9. About 20 bucks an hour minus gas working Racine County Is wear and tear on your vehicle figured in? Sort of? I make closer to 22 an hour and just say that anything over 20 per goes towards wear and tear. I have a pretty extensive spreadsheet with everything on it.

  11. So I've been driving for Doordash for a bit and I've come across alot of questionable things. It happens everywhere so not bugged about that. There is a particular chicken restaurant that will remain nameless but likes to eat spinach and defeat Bluto. They are notoriously slow. Lots of customers are upset, asking for refunds etc. Again, it happens. Today, they offered a chicken sandwich for completing a survey. Great, I thought. I can voice my opinion and grab a quick bite. Problem was, they were only giving the free sandwich if THEY completed the survey on my phone. That does not fly with me. I gave an excuse about having a phobia about other people touching my phone (partially true with Covid going on) and left. Your ratings and reviews are abysmal. You're not going to sell and scam a good review out of "me".
  12. It might come to that. Can it be a permanent thing?
  13. I bet we need to let Brett, the vet, get set to be the......best?
  14. Whenever I see somebody in public without a mask, I do not assume they are just rebelling or not believing in masks. I've come across enough people with medical reasons that I don't assume. HOWEVER. When somebody without a mask complains about people who wear masks, that's usually when I give the stare.
  15. Plan to get home, take a shower, and grab my favorite sour. Can’t wait! I am hoping to devour a flour tower tonight. (Lasagna)
  16. I talked to my friend who is a teacher for Kenosha had some interesting things to share. In their survey, most teachers wanted virtual learning but most parents wanted in school learning citing no ability to watch the kids during the day. My friend said her opinion was that this was very social economically driven. Which makes sense to me. Alot of the KUSD families are already on food stamps, etc. Also with the rules in place if they do have in school learning, is that anybody who tests positive or shows signs of Covid, triggers a shutdown of that entire classroom for 14 days or a negative test. By Kenoshas policy, any cough by little Johnny means 25+ kids have to stay home for 2 weeks or get tested on their own
  17. Assuming MLB plays a fullish season, itll be interesting what they deem as the cutoff for qualified batters/pitchers for the awards considering some players have incentives based on where/if they stand in the rankings.
  18. https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2020/07/why-arent-we-talking-more-about-airborne-transmission/614737/ The super-spreader–event triad seems to rely on three V’s: venue, ventilation, and vocalization. Most super-spreader events occur at an indoor venue, especially a poorly ventilated one (meaning air is not being exchanged, diluted, or filtered), where lots of people are talking, chanting, or singing. Some examples of where super-spreader events have taken place are restaurants, bars, clubs, choir practices, weddings, funerals, cruise ships, nursing homes, prisons, and meatpacking plants. If they just stop the group-sings at those meat packing plants, everything would be good! I know you are joking but that partially explains why JBS had the outburst of cases.
  19. I didn't realize this but Garcia played 12 (started 10) games in CF last year for the Inidans
  20. In my head, whenever I blame or "blame" St. Louis, I still picture TLR at the wheel of the conspiracy.
  21. I heard on the radio (The crossover) that the Nets on top of all the players already missing will have even more sitting tonight. No reason to start anybody of significance for the Bucks tonight.
  22. I am not suggesting this by any means but I wonder if there can be a case for a lawsuit for players/staff being negligent resulting in missed games/wages
  23. I knew I should have taken the under on the Brewers wins
