  1. Who, Gomez or Votto? Ha! I meant Votto and his insistance that Gomez showing he had the ball.
  2. Hawing, I heard UW Madison is shutting down. How does that affect you?
  3. I thought I read that Yelich didnt ask for the NTC but the Brewers flat out just gave it to him.
  4. Goon squad, baby!!!!! Bash brothers ala Mighty Ducks?
  5. I saw 1917 and was really impressed with all the long tracking shots. It certainly gave the film a different feel.
  6. From a satisfying perspective, Gomez's catch of Votto's near HR wins it for me. Smug jerk.
  7. Man are the refs really giving it to LA this 3rd quarter
  8. That was painfully all ball. Lebron spent the last 5 game minutes complaining and I think he finally got the call he was barking for. That being said, Giannis has gotten a few calls as well.
  9. Get out your Joseph Bat-light I was thinking more along the lines of "you're my only hope, Obi Joseph"
  10. This farm can stay the worst in baseball if it keeps churning out MLB talent. Last year it kicked Hiura Grisham Houser into the majors for good. Last year they were in the bottom 3 preseason. Pretty sure there are some top 27 teams who didn't graduate that much to the majors. I remember somewhere on here that its been the Brewers M.O. to fast track certain players once they seem to have "found it" and dont really have time to be on the top 100 list. Sure we dont have players in the minors with great pedigrees, but it does seem like we can churn out serviceable players pretty effectively.
  11. Jimmy is certainly another one in the "what if" category. I wonder if LA will be on the hook for the whole thing or if they got insurance knowing his history.
  12. That game was one of the best wins Bucks have had this year. It was s slugfest from tipoff and they never gave up.
  13. Beal with 53+ points 2 games in a row and 2 losses to show for it. Maybe its just me, but those performances arent that impressive when they lead to a victory. I dont remember the last time the Bucks had a 50 point scorer and still lost.
  14. Overall, I think most people agree, the arbitration process is a bit antiquated. I'd like to think it will be addressed for the new CBA.
  15. To be a contender? Absolutely. To actually win the division? Time will tell.
  16. I wonder if Bolsinger lives in LA because I'm trying to figure out why a Toronto Blue Jay is suing the Houston Astros in California
  17. If there ever was a year for a 4 team tie, this would be the best chance. That being said, barring something drastic I see the top 4 in the 80 to 88 range with Pitt around 70.
  18. Can the Brewers request not to play the Cubs on opening day?
  19. I'm not one to make knee jerk reactions but this seems really idiotic. 1 team on a bye and 4 wild card teams? All 3 game series at one location. I'm not a big fan of the 1 game playoff but that's still better than this proposal.
  20. I dont use social media typically but I sent a message on YouTube to a very minor YT "celebrity" (3 million subscribers or so) and I actually got a response back and I am actually giggling like a school girl over getting a response.
  21. I am not old (35) but I feel ancient when I hear memes/phrases that make no sense to me. Epstein didnt kill himself, the woman yelling at the cat. I feel so out of touch.
  22. Josh, you posted in your other thread that you suggested wrapping things up in November. Is this deal better/worse than what things were looking like back then? Thanks
  23. Last years random thread was 16 pages. This post should finish off the 5th page. It's a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy, but I think we will surpass lasts years post count.
  24. I never rooted for the Lakers but always had a deep admiration for what he did for the game. Itll be interesting to hear the details of the crash as it comes available.
  25. Had me worried a bit but it never ceases to amaze me how the Bucks can create a double digit lead in mere moments.
