  1. I think they might do that. About a month ago, after the Italian Sausage bobblehead game, I got a coupon for a free small fry from McDonalds. I didn't notice anything as to why they were being given out though.
  2. On the radio they mentioned that the umpires gave it the OK, as long as it stayed in one place for the game, barring rain that would require it to be closed all the way. So, they couldn't even move it with the sun.
  3. Not much of a mystery, they get to face Brewer pitching...
  4. Hopefully Ted Lilly the Dodger doesn't dominate us like Ted Lilly the Cub did.
  5. So, say McGehee somehow makes it through to the Braves or, even better, has already made it through everyone, and the Braves were desperate enough to trade one of those nice pitchers that were rumored in the Hart rumors. Would that pitcher have to make it through waivers as well, or since they are in the minors or not on the 40, they are tradeable? Or would it be a ptbnl and completed in the offseason?
  6. I'm just going to pretend that the last 3 loses can be attributed to having Braun and Hart out and had they not been hurt, a couple of those games would have gone like today is starting out.
  7. We can only hope it's going towards signing Lee.(light blue for half kidding)
  8. The rule is that the trip starts when the manager crosses the foul line and ends when he steps off the mound. I was wondering though, what if Mattingly had just turned around and answered Loney's question from where he was without going back onto the mound.
  9. So, just one of those dividend checks, and we could pay our entire roster and make a huge profit. Where is the fairness in that.
  10. I would have been so pissed if he had broken his wrist on that catch. I was so worried about it as soon as I saw it twisting. Amazing catch though.
  11. As a baseball fan, I'm happy. As a human being, I feel for his friends and family.
  12. Did they make a big deal in the post game show about how Axford's only wins have come in the last ab fashion, because as a closer that's really saying something.
  13. My favorite part was everyones initial 2 or so seconds of dejection after the first shot was blocked before they realized donovan put in the rebound...that and the kid that was watching alone.
  14. What a nice win. Glad to see Lucroy get both the rbi and homer moneky off his back. Lets keep it up, 1 down 5 16 the rest of the season to go.
  15. 2B Rickie Weeks RF Corey Hart LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder 3B Casey McGehee C Jonathan Lucroy CF Carlos Gomez SS Alcides Escobar LHP Manny Parra Looks like Lucroy is getting some love.
  16. Just to put your mind at ease, Edmonds would have been out by 30 feet if he had been sent. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gifTo further ease your mind, he actually was sent and ended up stopping about a quarter of the way to the plate, because he was looking back and saw he had no chance to make it. Maybe 'to further ease your mind' should be in blue...
  17. I'm going with he was pulled because he wasn't stretched out enough since we were using him as a reliever. He pitched better than I expected, but then again the Mariners lineup is atrocious. I think even I could make it through once without much damage.
  18. Despite his early troubles, Wolf has been pretty effective tonight. Only at 88 through 6.
  19. Should have just started a thread named 'Concerned about the Brewers'.
  20. I think I found our reason for losing today. BURN THE WITCH!!! It sucks that we were unable to capitalize on all of the lead off base runners, though it was nice to see some life in the ninth. It would be nice to have a manager that realized that you can take out a struggling closer BEFORE he gives up the lead, let alone the game.
  21. Since the Brewers are doing about the opposite of what I predict, I will predict the opposite of what I think and say 11-16. Tie breaker: 6+3+6=15
  22. Since he played today, they can only backdate it to today. I didn't know we still had a short bench with Bush pinch running and it looked like Yo was gonna pinch hit for Bush if that spot came up again last inning.
  23. My resting Weeks this past weekend, and today, on my fantasy team has done wonders for him.
