    Since we are technically half a game behind the 3-0 pirates, sadly yes it is too early. But if we win and they lose today, it's time to get that thing going!

    Very good point. 5th inning seemed like a "good" spot as well, but I think at that point they were still trying to get severino through the inning as well to avoid extra bullpen strain.

    I started watching the game a few minutes late with the tv app and wanted to play catchup. The usability of the fast forward and rewind is insane. Try to fast forward a bit and boom you're 7 years in the future. Rewind...are those dinosaurs? Finally get close to where you want it and watch half an inning and press fast forward, here's an inning and a half ago. And just to add salt to the wound, ff function disabled while commercials are on.

    Sad to see hall pulled at the start of the 5th so he's not eligible for the win.

    At least according to the tv box, hall is getting no help on pitches that just miss in addition to the ump calling a lot of strikes balls. Must be pretty frustrating for him, but I think he's still pitching well.

    I had a disastrous sweet 16. Went in with 7 of my elite 8 teams still playing and I went 2-5 with one of the picks being a team I picked to lose in the elite 8 and the other being my champion, but I'm already behind the other person in my group to pick them so second place is my highest possibility. Buy still some fun game ahead so it's whatever.

    Same exact play as earlier that got blocked. Maybe should have tried something else. Still pissed they didn't call a foul when giannis was mugged on the inbounds at the end of regulation.

    Kickoff changes have been approved for a 1 year trial. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nfl-approves-new-kickoff-rule It's gonna take some getting used to, but I'm gonna have to see it live before I can form an opinion I think. I haven't seen how this will affect onside attempts.

    Not a doubt in my mind #2 is happening. Easy to tell when the whistle only comes after the ball bounces out.

    Jeeze, what does this even mean? It feels like a poison pill inserted by lawyers just so they can get paid more to argue what it means.

    Not great for Ashby for sure, but the great part of spring training is that results don't really matter and he can focus on just getting his pitches right and as long as he can make progress through spring training he could still make the OD roster. Just hoping to see progress as the month progresses and go from there.

    Well right now the argument is when is the runner down and where is the ball, so eliminating what is really the more complicated aspect of that conversation would be a big help. Most of the time you can at least see a body part being down, but having no idea where the ball.

    Now I'm curious why his @ is Bryanchourio11 and not Jackson. Is this going to be a thing where years from now we've all been saying his name wrong this while time?

Someone sure does have a high opinion of their opinion. "It wasn't about the money let me explain to you why it was about the money, but instead I replace money with "fairness".

    Good, I never liked it in conjunction with other rules in place and felt that made it unfair, ie rules protecting the fielders and not being allowed to block home plate.
