  1. The radio guys were left speachless. Basically said Wow 2 or 3 times before cutting to commercial. They were absolutely confident it should have been out at home and safe at second. To quote "why have a replay system if it can't get the call right" for the call at home. I rarely listen on the radio but when I do and there's a replay they are always very critical of replay.
  2. If sent to a non playoff minor league couldn't they come back up on the 1st or 2nd? I think the regular season ends on the 3rd for all minor league teams.
  3. I'm not sure why so many people are talking about the bat's position relative to the plate. That means absolutely nothing.
  4. This. We are in a pennant race, we need all forms of superstitions in play. Not blue font. I'm in a pennant race too. He's staying on my bench.
  5. I've started Schebler on my fantasy team the last two days figuring the Brewers pitching sucks. The Reds have 28 hits and scored 21 runs in those two games. Schebler is 0-9 with 1 RBI and 0 runs scored. I'm benching him today, so expect him to go 4-5 with a couple dingers.
  6. According to BRaun's camp they requested an immediate retest once he was informed and he passed it. Quick googling seems it was about 2 weeks after. I guess what you're saying though is they should've just tossed them all after it couldn't be shipped that night and tested them again the next available day. Ya, retest ASAP. To me what the collector did would be no different than if he tripped on his way to FedEx and dropped the samples and they broke and spilled all over the ground.
  7. Wouldn't the prudent thing have been to just get another sample from Braun? It seems like it was an unusual situation and the sample would have been kept in less than ideal conditions, whether with the collector or FedEx. The result is probably the same for Braun either way but this would have removed the possibility of him getting off on technicalities and made everything a little more straight forward.
  8. Any bullpen moves today? After the last two games the only guys left are Jennings and Hernan Perez right? I mean Kratz has to catch today unless they bring someone up. Or I suppose Perez could catch him since they love to talk about him being the emergency catcher.
  9. [sarcasm]So people starting thinking about the 2019 MLB season and ignore that start of the NFL.[/sarcasm]
  10. I was livid at the time and thinking about it, while I don't agree with the call, I don't think it was as horrible as we all felt. Let's say the ball misses the bat, would that have been a strike? I don't think so because he was pulling back and didn't make an attempt to bunt it. Therefore if he wasn't attempting to bunt, the ball hitting the bat is just a foul ball with 2 strikes, same as a swing.
  11. I really wish Schoop would have pimped that homer a little more since Lorenzen thought he just won game 7 after getting gifted another pitch.
  12. Isn't it weird how this has completely flipped since the first half of the year... Well that is exactly what happened last year too. Except the other way.
  13. Turned on the game to see Scooter ***** Gennett almost take Hader out of the park and then the next guy does. Just a whole bag of suck.
