  1. I'm sorry but he has it right. Segura is a better hitter than Weeks and faster. Segura needs to stay at #2 in the order.
  2. The Giants players are so selfish. Stealing his teammates ball like that.
  3. Are you doing this boycott because of Weeks batting cleanup? If so, you are going to miss quite a few games. That's something that I'm just not capable of doing. Yuni at 1B. There is no reason to start Yuni at 1B. It is asinine. Are you sure about that? 100%?
  4. I have to fully admit that Doug Melvin (Mark Attanasio) made an excellent decision by going after Kyle Lohse. He is better than Gallardo.

  6. Call up Michael Olmsted and end this madness.
  7. If he can go back to 2011 form we will have a very good bullpen. If not, then expect more blown ball games in the late innings.
  8. I'd really like to take your word for it, but this seems completely and hopelessly irrelevant. Anybody in this thread that says that Gallardo has a drinking problem and is an alcoholic needs to seriously reevaluate that assumption and really understand how an alcoholic behaves and what he/she looks like. I've seen the worst drunks and it's highly unlikely Gallardo is one, so unlikely that it shouldn't be brought up even after this arrest. Now if he gets arrested a few more times or shows up to work drunk, then we can perhaps start that conversation up.
  9. True story, but my Grandpa who lives in Milwaukee, is an alcoholic, and about 20 years ago, he lost his license for life, because he had way too many drunk driving charges. I believe he hit a parked police car. For a time he would walk to the local bar and the police men in the area know who he is and would give him a ride back home practically every night. After he finished the beer cans he would smash them with his home made beer can smasher and recycle them for money to go out and by more beer. We are talking trash bags filled with empty beer cans. My Grandpa get's drunk every night. Last Christmas I bought him a bike with one of those sweet motors in it. He can go I believe 25-30 MPH with it. He loved it. He's the funniest man I know. He's a funny drunk. I'm so used to drinkers that it doesn't phase me. I know what a true alcoholic looks like and Gallardo isn't one. Take my word for it.
  10. TLB, I agree that when the Brewers traded LaPorta and Cain they traded from a position of depth, but when they traded Escobar they didn't. Why do you think they needed to get Yuni B from KC in that Greinke trade?
  11. Hey, this Yuni player is pretty good. What's all the fuss about?
  12. I don't know if this was a good signing yet, and I'm pretty sure I'll never know.
  13. I would have never guessed that. (friendly sarcasm) Every time I go to a Brewers game there are 10+ people in front of me in 1 row that have a beer in hand when they first sit down and multiple times throughout the game they call the concession guy over to get another. That doesn't even count the times when they get up during the middle of the innings and come back with another. Don't even try to tell me these people don't drive home drunk and don't make up half the stadium. Everywhere I look someone has a beer. Everywhere! I'm currently live out of town (lived in Milwaukee for a time) and I have never seen anything like it. Only when I go to Brewers games in Milwaukee do I expect it.
  14. Huge underestimate there. More people are drinking then you give them credit for. Remember, it's Brewers fans in Milwaukee we are talking about here at a sporting event.
  15. Do you know how stupid it would be for an officer to pull someone over without a reason? Like I said, a driver would have to do something stupid to get pulled over by a police officer, whether it's speeding, driving way too slow, forgot to put the lights on etc..
  16. The Police can't really enforce it unless someone does something stupid right by the stadium, since there is likely so many people who have been drinking unless it's some distances away from Miller Park on the secondary and third streets. This line of thinking doesn't hold much water. Sorry, Trwi7.
  17. Ennder, I know there is plenty of time between now and June/July to see what we have in the Minors; especially with the way the Brewers starting staff is struggling this early in the season, but I highly doubt Fiers, Burgos, Narveson will be good enough to solidify a starting spot in the rotation ( I could be wrong and we have plenty of time to find out), so at this point I think it's highly likely we go after a SP at mid-season should we be in contention. I'd put the percentage odds between 60-70 percent right now.
  18. We have this Asian restaurant near us called, "Panda Express", and the first thing I thought of when I heard that name was do they kill live Panda's and express serve them to us to eat?
  19. See, I actually believe they will be in the race by June/July, which is why I proposed this question. Think hypothetically.
