    I've heard that lots of players doctor their bats. The ones to the handle are legal, but the other ways are tricky to catch. It's not as easy as drilling a hole and poring in some cork. There's probably websites out there that describe ways of corking bats

    I would think some of the bullpen arms might reach AA. Parra--if healthy--is a likely candidate, too. I doubt Iribarren and Escobar reach AA. But Braun, Katin, Sollman, Fermaint, Gallardo, and Hammond are distinct possibilities

    it was more fun when Jenkins and Lee were both hitting a few weeks back. Now neither is.

    wow, Weeks over .500 for the week still, I think. So could he be, Rickie player of the Weeks?

    wow, not on extra innings. Boy, this stinks. It's dropped to the 70s in Zona. Since it was 100 last week, and there's zero humidity and 20 mph winds, 70 suddenly makes me want to stay inside. I figure there's no sympathy for me, though

    The A-ball pitchers have me excited today. Edit: Overall, an iffy outing by Garrison. But he showed strikeout ability while walking only one.

    maybe he just needs a boost until June 1st....by the way, a Tropical storm in the Eastern Pacific...maybe that's just what he needs to hear

    Bay with a so-so hit, but I can't believe Munson dropped the ball before Bay even got there. Was out by 5-10 steps, and he dropped it. I couldn't believe they even send Bay home

    Typical Jenkins at bat. I'd credit Floyd for executing his pitches. That's one that Geoff has always like to swing at, and he located it perfectly.

    i don't wish it, but it would be fun to see. Prince vs Fasano could bring about the end of the world, complete with the cats and dogs living together.
