    glad to see Bush going today. Rough start, but nothing getting elevated. He was available in the pen today, so he should be good for 75-90 pitches

    just what Nashville needed, 2 innings from a starter. I would think Thurman, Zumwalt, or Housman might be heading to AAA soon.

    in general I've been kept busier following the minor leagues, as it's very exciting with all the talent we've added in the last few drafts. It's also tricky, as I just don't know these top guys' names as much, and even then, we pick so low that I have no idea how we might be looking

    Hall would have run all the way across the diamond and fielded that ball, then beat Nomar to the bag, and thrown home to get Furcal. Or was that William Wallace?

    Brewer Fever, all umps are constantly being reviewed. Questec, remember. In the Fall League's Questec meeting, we learned that umps miss an average of 1% of pitches, according to the system. That was 1 for sure

    by the way, I should mention that while I like Daron and Bill, I'm loving hearing Scully. The way he says "James Jerry Hardy" gives me goosebumps for some reason.

    You know, I wonder it playing against Lowe is one of those pitchers guys should just not swing till there are two strikes. His sinker seems to wind up off the plate on each pitch even though they look like meaty fastballs the whole way. His movement is sick. I think most who ridiculed the signing are more understanding. Had a solid '05, now a good start to '06

    Brian, I know mlb.com had an article/advertisement last week about how Mlb now has an official deal with a boxscore company that sells their software on mlb.com. They have versions for pocketPC's even, and it supposedly has hundreds of stats that can be instantly generated based on someone keeping score using it.

    Gotta say I've never seen someone make it that close at first on a one-bounce comebacker to the pitcher before. nice hustle Rickie. Also, Cappy's fine. Sounds like some are like my dad, and freak out every time a Brewers doesn't get a hit, or a Brewers' pitcher doesn't get someone out

    could be a very low scoring game. A pitcher's park, Cappy has been dealing, and Lowe has been a good signing for the Dodgers.

    wow, amazing to look at the hitting lines for the West Virginia guys. Considering they started slowly, and we haven't yet heard from Richardson, this team might continue getting better and better.

    what annoys me in the In Game Threads isn't the comments like "Prince with a great play," but rather "and Prince makes an out." And that's the entire post. There's one name of a poster that comes to mind, and it seems he likely posts 90% of the time in the IGT's. I'm not sure if it annoys me that he's stating simple facts, or if he's posting and refreshing OVER and OVER while still not taking the time to become an EZ Supporter
