Yeah, I kinda want to see Peralta and Guerra today. Either early with a quick hook or late when we're up by 8. There isn't really a great reason to use them though if the game is in doubt.

9 pitches. I'm ok with him going two I'm torn. Pull him now and he could go two tomorrow, although there is no guarantee he will be needed. The luxury of a 4 run lead...

And yet, I would not hesitate to use Gio later on in the series... If he flounders out of the gate today it means nothing for tomorrow, it just means that in order for the Brewers to win tonight they should go to one of the other guys. Perhaps we'll have to go to Gio in the first inning of game 3 or 4 when Bellinger and Muncy are coming up with guys on base after one of the above mentioned righties gets in trouble early...that would be the right move. Exciting times in baseball strategy.

When you've got Woodruff, Burnes, Peralta, Chacin, and Guerra in the pen and the first 6 Dodgers are batting right handed, you are absolutely correct. One of those arms should be pretty close to ready to go if Gio gets in trouble. If the first 2 guys get on, you make a change. If 2 of the first 3 batters get on, you make a change. It's the right thing to do.

Yeah, they just released a bunch of tickets that were previously held, so keep trying. Not sure if that is going to be the case for tomorrow too?

I completely agree with your comparison between this current team of ours and the one from 1982--which as many of you might know was known by the great nickname Harvey's Wallbangers. That's a funny name, because not only did that team hit a lot of balls that went off the wall, but it's also an alcoholic drink . If any teenagers are reading this, that wink means that alcohol, while prevalent in society, is BAD for you. -
