  1. Nice. My day is officially better.
  2. Ugh. I am so nervous for this game. Might just be me being a pessimist, but I almost feel like we are underdogs after the last two games and Kennedy going tonight. Thank god its at MP. Come on Brewers, don't build me up just tear me down again. If we lose this I might not watch baseball the rest of the year. At least the Yankees lost.

  4. Trust me, I do not want an argument here since I actually agree with you for the most part, but don't you think there is psychological factor here that takes place. I agree that most GM's realize that one game doesn't make or break a pitcher, but don't you think the last couple games of a season might eat at the brains of other GMs a little more than most games? I guess I should have been more detailed instead of making a generalization, but if a pitchers last game (especially on a national stage) is either really good or really bad, I have to imagine that it would affect things slightly. If Soup stinks up the joint in the playoffs, I can't believe we would have given him the contract he received.
  5. After the last two games I think we will get a lot less for either pitcher if for some reason we lose Game 5 and they don't get a chance to redeem themselves. I hoping we win Game 5 (duh) and then they pitch amazingly the rest of the playoffs.... Perfect world: We win the World Series and trade one or the other for a good, young SS.
  6. I might be wrong, but I don't think Marcum has had the best run support this year, so pointing to a W/L record doesn't tell the whole story. Marcum is a solid 2/3 guy. If he was 27 instead of 30 I'd be much more open to an extention. As it is, we lost Lawrie when we picked him up and I would like to get something back besides draft picks when he leaves.
  7. Great job GM DM. I bet the Mets board is melting down about now. wow. I was worried it would be Fiers\Davis and McClendon(sp?).
  8. UGH! One of the Pittsburg announcers just said Rob Deer was part of Harvey's Wallbangers.
  9. That is great. I've got a handlebar going for the last month or so. At the moment I'm the only one who loves it but I'm trying to bring back mustache wax. I've loaded my stock portfolio with it so I'm feeling pretty strong about retirement. Ned Yost the 12th is hilarious. Great line.
  10. I'm not sure if this is the proper spot for this question so feel free to move it if necessary, but should I be getting worried that we haven't signed either of our 1st rounders yet? With only a few days left I would have thought we'd hear something if both sides were close.
  11. Nice. If he's in Milwaukee fanning people and screaming at batters, I will buy a T-shirt.
  12. I'm surprised to see Molina in there. I thought for sure there was a suspension coming. Big game. Lets start another winning streak!!!
  13. Yeah with Braun out: Morgan Hart Weeks Fielder
  14. I really hope Davis is not in this deal. I'm ok with Komatsu and reliever, but anyone with a shot at producing well for us in the future should not be in this deal.
  15. Nice to see Miller bounce back nicely after a rough 1st inning. As of the 4th inning he had sawed off at least 3 bats. Nice.
  16. I'm hoping he breaks up a no-hitter with a bunt and then hits a walk-off in the ninth. That way he can shoot the arrows at Brewer teammates and have them fall down like bowling pins....errrrrr...cowboys.
  17. Boy would I love to get to Arroyo early and often and destroy the Reds bullpen for the rest of the series. The crew will have to take some pitches for that to happen. I wish Hart was back. Those 6,7,8 hitters are just plain ugly, although they've been playing decent lately. Anyone know when Plush comes back?
  18. We could always explore the possibility with Greinke and/or Marcum (if it hasn't taken place already) to see what kind of numbers they are looking at. If it doesn't look like either is a possibility for an extention, I could see us extending a decent off to Prince this offseason.
