Loe is great when you are looking for a ground ball double play or trying to keep the ball in the park but he's not going to be good if you pitch him every single day for the entire 8th inning
Maybe, if we could hit as good as the Padres! Although have we come from behind to win a game at all this year? Normally I would say maybe we're due for one, but the reason is our approach turns to trash as soon as we get behind. Everyone gets instantly frustrated and starts hacking for the fences. Craig Counsell is the only one smart enough to go to the plate and just try to not make an out and get to the next hitter.
Once again, I find only problems with how the player is being used, not with the player. Kotsay has plenty of value as a PH or spot starter against RHP but starting him in center, with this timing, is beyond terrible.
For maybe the first time all year, I looked at the line up and didn't want to complain (no idea why) Mainly Gomez being on a bit of a hot streak and Hart looks good where he is for how he is performing right now. Also I don't hate where Lucroy is because he can single and get bunted over for the pitchers spot and then the top of the order is up, if things go according to plan.
Has the feel of a perfect game since he went 27 up 27 down The order he did it against had only 1 batter hitting above .265 (Lind) who left after 2 ABs with an injury.
I'm glad to see the Brewers can score some runs when Braun and Fielder go 0/7. Even average 3,4 hitters getting blanked would make it hard for an offense to score.
Hart looks completely lost at the plate and in 1 AB I don't expect anything out of him. He needs 4+ ABs in a day to get something going right now. Betancourt is not a bad option at all to bring in right now, IMO.
