  1. I'll be honest I don't really care who "wins" the CBA negotiations, all I care about is giving small markets more of a chance. I know there is more parity in MLB than in other sports but World Series titles are still largely dominated by large markets and I'd like to see small markets have more of a chance at them.
  2. How could you forget the legend of Colin Walsh
  3. Seems like a perfect platoon partner for Omar, hopefully he can improve on defense
  4. Give me your examples of DS being "aggressive", I could give you more than these obviously, but give me TWO examples of moves that DS has done that can equal or match those that Melvin did in acquiring CC and Greinke. Melvin gave two craps about "prospects" and dealt them to win now at the major league level. I appreciate that in a GM. A guy not afraid to go "all in" even if in the end, it fails. IDC if it's football, or baseball or NBA. It's not worth really debating with you because your mind is already made up, but let's just say there are more ways to be aggressive than shipping away your best prospects for win now players.
  5. Sounds like in the end the Brewers denied the Mets permission to interview. Not a great look imo
  6. Lmao at the idea that Stearns isn't aggressive
  7. To be honest, I think it is kind of crappy to not allow Arnold the chance to interview for a POBO position. It'd be one thing if it was a lateral move but this could be a chance to run a team which Arnold hopefully won't have here for awhile
  8. Is it possible Stearns acquires a backup catcher at the deadline, considering how awful Pina has been this year, atleast hitting wise
  9. Hasn't he already done that with the Adames trade? I agree he needs to make another move but he can be patient and find the right one
  10. I think it's clear the Brewers need to add a bat, where exactly I'm not sure but if I'm Stearns I try and add the best bat I can and figure out how to align defensively and playing time later
  11. Interesting timing since he has struggled a bit in AAA. I'm excited though and box score stats don't always tell the whole story
  12. I remember when people wanted Lindblom in the rotation over Houser lol
  13. It sure seems like if it were today the all stars would be Woody, Burnes, Hader, and an outside shot at Freddy although I'm doubtful on him right now. Not sure anyone else even comes close to being deserving
  14. With 14 hitters on the roster, that will change soon. So very possible Vogelbach or Mckinney is gone soon
  15. Change will always effect a segment of the population. It doesn't mean change shouldn't occur. I remember fans making these same comments when the Packers and Bucks did this and after a few weeks nobody complained and it's ran smoothly. It'll be fine
  16. I'm sure that's exactly how every team outside of the Dodgers feels
  17. Daniel Vogelbach has made the Brewers, Counsell announced
  18. People got used to it at Lambeau and Fiserv. They'll get used to it here too
  19. Personally I'm fine if the Cubs want to leave him down for the first month when we play them 9 times
  20. I don't see why people think Lindblom would be that much better than Houser?
  21. Super excited to see what Freddy does this season
  22. JR Radcliffe had a great podcast on this other day with an expert on streaming services and basically the response was it isn't worth it for these streaming services to pay for RSNs because not a high enough % of people who stream watch sports. I'm not really sure what the solution is. It's easy to blame Sinclair but I'm not sure what else they are supposed to do if streaming services won't even come close to paying market value for RSNs
