    right now, you have to question how early & often Lou has gone to his pen. Marmol has been way overworked, and they went to the pen early yet again in the 6th today.. considering all the extra innings games, it is only a matter of time before those arms are done.

    weeks is having a great offensive game today, but had some costly mistakes in the field. Personally, I think the Crew shouldnt have played Weeks (and probably Hardy) through injuries last year..

    the better question on Braun would be if he struck out on an intentional walk

    braun put himself into a bad position by reaching out of the zone earlier. Pitchers have no reason to throw him strikes to him. It also seems to be me Braun is really pressing. One thing that stands out is that he traditionally takes a lot of time between swings, makes the pitcher wait on him. He's not doing that ..at least not that at-bat.

    is this game in SD for everyone? Do DISH subcribers get any games in HD this year? Why are games being broadcast in HD on some systems and SD on others? Is that the fault of FSN or DISH?

    the adventure continues. Our entire outfield and pitching staff have looked foolish tonight.

    I'll take some solace in the amount the cubbies are needing to use their relievers this year. Marmol has pitched 6 games already (7 innings) and they are in extra innings once again.

    Hart with a close play back to first base.. you could tell just by looking at the reflection off of Counsell's batting helmet how close it was

    They have to buy out at least one FA year for Braun. Take away the arby years, which he will likely get $10M per and an FA year ($15ish) and you have good reason to sign, including giving the fans & players confidence that mgmt is building a winner.

    yeah, according to gameday, the ump hasnt been giving Soup the knee-high, center of the plate all night. The third pitch to Dunn practically hit dead center in the strike zone according to gameday again.
