  1. Tough injury breaks for both the Cards and the Reds. The depth of both these teams will be challenged while the Brewers try to recover from this recent free fall. I am still looking forward to this big upcoming series against the Cards. Regardless of the Brewers recent struggles it is still good to be playing meaningful baseball heading into the break!
  2. Enjoy the weather! It has been dusty and sticky here in AZ the last few days! Hopefully you will bring them a win or two this weekend!
  3. This has to be rock bottom. No where to go but up? On a positive side, despite this HORRIBLE slide the team is still 11 games above .500 and still in first place. In many of the previous years a slide like this would have put the Brewers out of the race. Maybe the Brewers can get healthy while everyone else starts to deal with injuries. A slump buster is needed indeed for these boys!
  4. Thank you! I agree! If I was still in Milwaukee I would be in full force for all 3 games against the Cards.
  5. What are you even talking about? Please don't explain either... Never fails...

  7. And Homer Bailey leaves game early with an apparent knee injury today... http://m.mlb.com/video/v34462357/chccin-bailey-leaves-game-with-an-apparent-injury/?partnerId=as_mlb_20140710_27617336

  10. I don't get this? What else was he suppose to do? 1) He moved Gomez back in the leadoff spot and Gomez had his best game in weeks. 2) Reynolds (HR) and Bianchi (1b) both were used properly and got pinch hits. 3) He handled the bullpen just right tonight without taxing it too much. He even got Wang some work without incident. It is not his fault that the best hitters on the team (Lucroy & Ramirez) couldn't come up with a clutch hit tonight. Nor is it his fault that Wily Peralta imploded tonight. I get that RR hasn't been the most popular guy around here but tonight was hardly any fault of his. How about bringing the infield in when the situation doesn't dictate it? Or letting a leadoff hitter swing on a 2-0 pitch in the 9th when a walk is what we need? Or not getting the starting pitcher out of the game when he doesn't have squat? How about a general lack of discipline at the plate and on the bases because he is an "aggressive" manager? The guy is a stooge . LOL, yes of course that is all on him... Well this "stooge" is a manager of a 1st place ball club and also coached this franchise to a NLDS a few years back. He has a star player who is always hurt and hasn't been given a true first baseman in the last year and a half. Hopefully you have this same venom towards Doug Melvin also?
  11. Looks like he lay be headed to the Stars first? http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20140708&content_id=83685040&notebook_id=83715196&vkey=notebook_mil&c_id=mil
  12. It looks like Jim Henderson got one last appearance for Maryvale tonight? The box score said he gave up 2 hits but also had 2 K's in one inning of work. Get that man to AA or AAA now!

  14. Wang doing his best to "show some fire" for the Brewers! Let's get that young man a win!
  15. The offense put up 7 runs thus far tonight. The only real issue was that Peralta had an absolute stinker tonight. It is a bad stretch but I do not believe this team is not trying or has given up. Like I said earlier, let the bandwagon fans jump ship. We will see them back when the Brewers win a game, heck maybe even tonight.
  16. Lol at all the bandwagon jumpers... Geez, just jump off already. No need to tell us your going to do it. I guess we will see you back when they win a game?
  17. Or because Kendrick is horrible... Agreed but the approach over the last 10 days or so has been pretty bad by the hitters. It just seems much better so far tonight.
