  1. For those that didn't see what happened today, or haven't been following the A's vs Orioles series... Manny Machado = FAIL
  2. And possibly add Gilbert Lara to these picks....
  3. Solid first start for Jungmann. It will be fun to follow him, Nelson, Pena and Fiers at AAA.
  4. Consistency= Brewers are 16-11 at home and 16-11 on the road.
  5. Ramirez (hamstring) hopes to be ready to return to the Brewers by the end of their current homestand, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. (31 minutes ago)
  6. Gilbert Lara mention (among other Brewers items). http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2014/05/quick-hits-drew-nelson-smith-marquis-hall-july-2.html
  7. Taylor Jungmann to AAA? Starting to night in place of Jimmy Nelson who is on hold for a start in Miami for the Brewers? http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/260471731.html
  8. Also, Taylor Jungmann will be starting in Jimmy Nelson's spot tonight. Just promoted. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/260471731.html Edit: I must have understood the report wrong. Kyle Heckathorn gets the start in Nashville tonight. My apologies.
  9. Word is Jimmy Nelson won't be starting tonight. He will be held off for a possible start in Miami for the Brewers if Yo can"t go. Per JS Online
  10. Prince may be done for a while... http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2014/05/prince-fielder-seriously-considering-season-ending-surgery.html
  11. Looked like he got hurt diving back to first on a catcher pickoff attempt. Thank you. Gameday just said it was due to an injured back.
  12. Hilarious! http://wapc.mlb.com/cutfour/2014/04/30/73835436/brewers-bullpen-is-back-with-more-everybody-wei-chung-tonight?partnerId=as_mlb_20140430_22953484
  13. Let's get the Brewerfan.net Facebook page rolling again! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Brewerfannet/203382853017993
  14. What irks me is the comments being made by players that are now part of the media (Schilling, Larkin, Kruk, Williams). They had a chance, as a member of the MLBPA, to get PED's out of the game long ago but instead of standing up for something they instead fell in line with the union heads who wanted nothing to do with any sort of PED testing. Now they choose to bash someone when they themselves stuck their heads in the sand when they knew it was happening all along? Also, the same "media" who are all over this story, stuck their heads in the sand back in the day as well. Where was this aggressive reporting/digging in the 90's?
  15. Or maybe Braun was so defiant following his arbitration victory because he had already stopped using by this time and knew he would never get a positive test again? He figured he had it beat and only had to cover it up once?
  16. Being that sometimes a few different pitchers can blow a save in the same game and the team can still win, blown saves can be misleading... I went back to the All Star break and looked at each loss. 8 of the losses really stuck out. These were games that the Brewers held a multiple run lead heading into the 8th and lost. I know they also had some of those prior to the break as well. Those are the ones that really hurt.
  17. I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who provide and contribute to the Link Report! I am on the internet A LOT and I can honestly say that this is my most visited page throughout baseball season. You guys make this such a GREAT resource and a FANTASTIC read! THANKS for another GREAT season! You hard work and effort on this is GREATLY appreciated! Cheers!!!
  18. Congrats Hunter! http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/168367166.html
