McGehee has an OPS of .873 in his first 424 career at bats. He also has a BA of .304 with 20 HR's and 81 RBI's in those same 424 AB's... Not a bad start to a career. I am glad he is a Brewer!

Katin has started the year on fire! 4 walks in 4 games is a very impressive stat for him! In addition he has struck out only twice... Let's hope he keeps it up because RF is a position of need for the big club!

It is nice to know that with Rogers now pitching in Huntsville there is a better than 30 percent chance the game will actually be played (not as many rainouts!)... :-) -

That's probably a good idea and I will do that. Please know that most players kids who are at Spring Training games usually are wearing a custom fit jersey with their last name on it (that is how my son originally met Yo Jr a few years back). Counsell, Hart, and many others kids are not to hard to recognize at games nor do they try to hide it. Everyone is out in the open and the area is not secure in any way. They are always very friendly and the kids always end up playing together. I don't see the pics as an issue but I was prepared for concerns and will gladly take them down.

I'd forgotten your boy's pairing with Yo Jr.! Thanks for the pics You're welcome! They are a wonderful family! Now I just need for the Brewers to remain in AZ for Spring Training once their lease is up in Maryvale... But that is another topic for another day!

Would anyone be willing to clean out the farm if it meant getting two low cost, top of the rotation options such as Cole Hamels and Edwin Jackson? They would both be under team control for the next two years... It appears that Detriot may trade Jackson as a cost control measure. It was also brought up in the "Cole Hamels" thread that he (Hamels) could possibly be had as well. Any thoughts?

Noah Lowry is said to become a free agent (according to mlbtraderumors.com). He has not pitched since 2007 but is said to be 100% healthy and throwing 3 days per week. He could be another low cost, high reward option much like Mulder.

The pitching is another year or two away! PLEASE no Suppan type signings this off season! Trade the arby eligible players and save the cash for Prince and Yo! The playoff window will be open for about 4-5 years if we can be patient!
