  1. Whoa. That is all. And it was his second Postseason 2-run HR off of Walker Buehler (other was Game 3 of 2018 NLCS). Arcia has hit safely in all 11 Postseason games he’s batted in.
  2. i don't think eric lauer is with the team right now. here's why. Thanks for the research. That is odd. All I can figure is that he's either injured, or they feel he has no confidence left. He's a guy that needs to live in Arizona at the pitching lab this offseason. He's young and has the talent to be in the rotation next year. He did throw Narvaez under the bus under the bus after his first start versus the Reds. I’m starting to wonder if there is more than performance related issues in the equation. Obviously just total speculation on my part, and very possibly unwarranted.
  3. Via Mike Vassallo... All-time franchise leaders in postseason homers: Prince Fielder - 4 Orlando Arcia - 4 Paul Molitor - 3 Ted Simmons - 3
  4. It’s weird that people care about a guy using glue to keep a nasty blister together when the likely 2020 NL CY Young winner is literally using foreign substances to gain a substantial advantage.
  5. I put one of his Brewer home runs side by side with 2019 on my computer monitor and they’re awfully similar. Maybe that’s why it was a HR. Unfortunately people don’t really YouTube strikeouts, so tough to get true comparison I guess. Yeah, that’s a fair point. It just seems like he’s doing that crazy upper cut swing on a lot of pitches that aren’t anywhere near the bottom of the zone. He looked more under control in the video, although they were obviously handpicked highlights for a reason.
  6. Well at least the Brewers have an extra base hit on Buehler, and it’s Vogelbach who I really hope remains a part of this team. His approach is so much better than any other hitter we’ve watched this season.
  7. I mean he could maybe be good elsewhere if another team has a hitting coach that can see how awful of a swing he has and maybe try to fix it. Look back at previous years highlights. It’s the same swing in years where he’s hit really well. He didn’t change it when he got here. Looks like in 2019 it was a shorter swing (seems more loopy and exaggerated now)...
  8. After tomorrow, this team won't see 18 playoff games in the next 20 years. What??! SMH. Edit: I’ll happily take the over on that in the era of 16-team playoffs.
  9. Well Brent Suter (and Eric Yardley) have given up the same amount of runs that Max Scherzer did through the first 2 innings of last year’s NL Wild Card game, and that turned out okay for Scherzer’s squad.
