  1. Has everyone seen this Marcell Ozuna outfield play (Twitter Link) from tonight? I literally laugh out loud every time I watch it... Marcell Ozuna botched outfield play
  2. He is a 30 year old that entered this season with just 10 career home runs. The fact he has now hit 3 HRs in the past 26 hours is pretty remarkable.
  3. I know Freddy has to be approaching his pitch limit for this game, but it would sure be nice to squeeze at least another inning out of him, for the bullpen's sake. He has now given up over a 1.000 OPS in the 4th inning for his career. Yikes.
  4. I don’t want to be a party pooper, but for his career the only inning that Freddy Peralta has rivaled his poor 1st inning results is in the 4th inning (actually worse, he has given up a .993 OPS to opponents in the 4th for his career). Hopefully he can improve on the latter tonight.
  5. [sarcasm]Angels so confident they are going to beat the Brewers they appparently decided to rest Trout for the remainder of the game.[/sarcasm]

  7. I wouldn’t mind the Brewers taking a chance on LHP Andrew Suarez. He is a player that would be very tough on lefties out of the bullpen and could be stretched out as a starter if needed at somepoint (started 29 games for the Giants last year). He has had trouble with right-handed batters, but is also young-ish enough to hope he can improve in that respect. He seems like a candidate that could see improved numbers with increased slider usage. Suarez is currently in Triple-A for the Giants, so in theory he shouldn’t cost a ton of value in order to acquire.
  8. xAVG is .194 and generally has been in the .250 range for his career. Also has only one barrell and a low launch angle. His xwOBA is .301 which is about league average and is mostly due to the good BB percentage. His actual OBP was .359 coming into tonight which surprised me.
  9. That. Was. Awesome. (LOL Pujols) Agree with those that have said Yelich’s arm looks much stronger this year.
  10. Wow, that was an ugly turn around 1B for Moose. Don’t see many “singles” hit on a one hopper off the wall.
