  1. I know the neutral announcers aren’t everyone’s favorite deal, but I appreciate hearing a more honest assessment of the players and in-game decisions for both sides.
  2. Winkler seems to be having trouble with his command, wouldn’t hate a patient approach from Arcia here.
  3. Well it was that or a double play It has the possibility to turn out to be better for the Brewers. Come on Kratz.
  4. Amazing catch by Braun... and my first thought immediately after is that I hope his back is okay.
  5. True, I wasn’t really considering the pitch count as much as the percentages of facing those guys a third time. Moot point now I guess, it worked out well. Pitching certainly hasn’t been the problem tonight thus far, really hope they can find a way to generate some runs.
  6. Well what do I know. Nice job Miley, now hopefully the bats can provide some support.
  7. Yeah, this seems like a big ask of Miley. The third time through to really good hitters isn’t a great spot to be in here.
  8. It already has the feel of a game where it’s going to take ≥6 runs to have a chance.

  10. In the past eight days the Brewers have had games in which they have given up 21 runs, 11 runs, 8 runs, and whatever tonight’s run total ends up being (currently 7 and counting).
  11. That hopeless feeling that permeated the pre-All Star break losing streak is starting to creep in.

  13. I believe today was the Brewers 18th blown save this season which would put them in a tie for 5th most in MLB (granted that's tied with four other teams).
  14. Despite earlier indications it seems like Corey Knebel is still considered "the closer" at this point. After today's outing Knebel's WHIP is 1.69 in save situations this season. Soria's apparent injury may complicate things further, but it seems like a good time to revisit not having a set closer role.
  15. I know a lot of people were disappointed with Tuesday night's loss, but barring a miraculous comeback today's game seems much worse, in my opinion.

  17. Moustakas is ok though? No it's not...but at least he has hit a couple with the Brewers....but neither should be on it. The sanctity of the Brewers home run leaderboard has been tarnished!

  19. The people getting on me earlier for saying he’s been awful got real quiet lol I don’t think anyone was arguing that Schoop has been playing well over the past week, but at this point either he will be exactly the player we have seen over the past week which would basically be on pace to become one of the worst major league regulars in the modern history of the sport, or he will bounce back to be a contributor. I guess we will have to wait and see.
  20. Tonight was frustrating, no doubt... but ultimately the Padres played quite a bit better than the Brewers. Either way, the doom and gloom forecast of an impending collapse seems a bit dramatic. It was a bad night, and they will have some better ones soon enough.
  21. I could certainly be wrong, but I think the earliest we will possibly see Keston Hiura don a major league uniform is late-May of 2019.
  22. Fangraphs prospect analyst Eric Longenhagen with a short but sweet note on Hernandez: “Elite stuff/spin guy with deuce control”
  23. For the pitcher definitely, not for Schoop Yeah, forgot the pitcher spot is fifth right now.
  24. If Aguilar gets on is it worth pinch hitting Shaw in this situation? He could take over at 2B. Not a knock on Schoop as much as playing the matchup.
