you guys wanting Pratt to hit there are nuts. Wine about Frelick all you want, but he was the best option there.
-
ball just ain't bouncing our way tonight.
-
man, martin Perez just lives on the edges getting soft contact all game long.
-
I mean, Sanchez could be DHing tonight.
-
yeah that one to Riley I cringed a bit right away with the location of it. Lucky it was ONLY a single.
-
drives me nuts when guys take all the way, on the first pitch of the at-bat, on what ends up being a fastball right down the middle.
-
And to add insult to injury, Vlad left the game with an injury so who knows if he'll be available the rest of that series.
-
Yep, the ol' Javier Baez strategy.
-
Also, Pratt showing bunt and pulling it back on a first-pitch fastball right down the middle today was another killer.
-
welp, looks like he didn't take Anderson's role. Anderson got the higher leverage role today.
-
you were just talking the other day about how nasty he looked in his Brewers debut.
-
yeah, missed out on a meatball right down the middle because of that. Not that he did anything with the next meatball lol
-
rough AB from Pratt.
-
yeah but starting Sanchez at catcher and Contreras at DH would have given him a rest behind home plate but still a way to get his bat in the lineup.
-
i'm all for giving Contreras a day off here and there, but it's odd it's coming vs a LHP. I'd rather start him today than Yelich.
-
he's been warming up
-
didnt think Ashby would even be available tonight.
-
guardians having to start Rhys hoskins' corpse cleanup against a RHP. Woof.
-
yeah, i was actually kind of happy in the off-season when they gave Bregman that big contract. Pretty average player, and minimal upgrade over Shaw. They needed pitching much more than a minimal 3B upgrade.
-
ball game!!!!!
-
Edward Cabrera left the game today, potentially aggravating the prior blister issue he had.
-
why would you have no confidence in Kuhnel? He's good.
-
