his stats in AAA are certainly underwhelming. It sure would be nice if there was a better option than him to replace the banged-up Rengifo.
  2. RWeeksFan23
    what is his injury?
  3. RWeeksFan23
good call on wiguy's behalf, no Turang in the lineup today. He's been overdue for a game off. Perfect time to do so against a very tough LHP.

Bregman finally comes through with RISP, hitting a two-run homer in Coors just now.

I don't know... was our pitching staff even good enough in that era to go nine innings at any point? lol
  6. RWeeksFan23
I literally can't even imagine Vaughn playing 3B. He'd be a statue over there.
  7. RWeeksFan23
yeah, when he came in the game and they showed his stats on the screen, i assumed he was a mediocre at best pitcher; then he proceeds to throw gas and strike out all four hitters he faced...

I know murphy rides his top players hard, but even I was a bit surprised Contreras started at catcher again over Sanchez, given the heat, length of the game on Monday, and the emotional comeback win. Seemed like an obvious rest day for Contreras yesterday.

Matos was horrific in his small stint in the big leagues, and now is crashing down to earth at AAA too.
  10. RWeeksFan23
welp, he would have finally had number one today, if the wind wasn't blowing in from center field!

Grand slam Matt Chapman! Cubs trail 6-0. Hopefully these Giants bats stay hot!
  12. RWeeksFan23
the dude can rake. He's underrated by everyone on here in these prospect lists. Idk why he hasn't even been promoted yet.
  13. RWeeksFan23
Seems like Chourio just had a day off within the past week too. Definitely a bit odd since Murphy rides his top guys so hard.
  14. RWeeksFan23
how do you think he compares to Coleman Crow in terms of impact at the major league level right now?
  15. RWeeksFan23
I guess he doesn't chase much in general, but i swear i see him swinging at a lot of pitches above the zone.
  16. RWeeksFan23
he doesn't strike out often; however to me he chases a lot of high fastballs, and as noted on here, he doesn't have good instincts on when to challenge balls and strikes.
  17. RWeeksFan23
just doesn't have a good grasp of the strike zone.
  18. RWeeksFan23
A lot of people on here might have wanted to, never me though. He's always been underrated in my eyes.
  19. RWeeksFan23
yep. it's a shame because last year the ball bounced our way all season, getting that first round bye, and then just ran into the buzzsaw known as the dodgers.
  20. RWeeksFan23
to be fair they will get hunter greene back at some point though which will be a huge boost to their rotation.
  21. RWeeksFan23
    in a heartbeat.
  22. RWeeksFan23
kinda dumb you aren't able to challenge those. That was as egregious as it gets.
  23. RWeeksFan23
definitely a bit surprised they didn't challenge that.
  24. RWeeksFan23
I disagree, Levering thinks he's funny too. And he's just plain annoying.
  25. RWeeksFan23
i'm late to the party, but anyone else think that one ball was gone off the bat possibly, in the 9th inning off megill with like one out?
