our team is just awful at challenging/not challenging.
  2. RWeeksFan23
wow, sproat might go into the sixth at this point.
  3. RWeeksFan23
    JOEY ORTIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. RWeeksFan23
really hope this doesn't go to extras with the state of our bullpen.

contreras is making Gary Sanchez look like a challenge savant.
  6. RWeeksFan23
Grant Anderson in the game. Trwi, are you watching??
  7. RWeeksFan23
why the hell did they not walk happ intentionally with first base open?
  8. RWeeksFan23
shades of Ozzie Albies in that braves series again.
  9. RWeeksFan23
how was last night's game meaningless? division games against your biggest division threat are incredibly important.
  10. RWeeksFan23
Cubs found a hole in Turang's swing with the high fastball.
  11. RWeeksFan23
wow. despite not catching that, that was an amazing defensive play.
  12. RWeeksFan23
warning track, just short of the wall.
  13. RWeeksFan23
    nice bounce back.
  14. RWeeksFan23
    jesus, Ashby.
  15. RWeeksFan23
it's crazy to me that despite Frelick having such a good chase rate, he just does NOT lay off high fastballs. Even though he still got a base hit off of one just now.

contreras' AB was a killer. Had two meatballs that he did nothing with, before whiffing on the high fastball.
  17. RWeeksFan23
so with Rom being sent down, why wasn't he the one that pitched multiple innings in yesterday's blowout win, instead of Patrick?
  18. RWeeksFan23
I think I read early July is the expectation at this point.

that at-bat by Contreras in the first inning loomed large now. Swinging 2-0 at a ball out of the zone with the bases loaded to get himself out.
  21. RWeeksFan23
oh God. now we gotta deal with Sale tomorrow...
  22. RWeeksFan23
turang should be at 2nd base shouldn't he??
  23. RWeeksFan23
    when facing a RHP, light-hitting lefty> light-hitting righty
  24. RWeeksFan23
whoa, James mouton. have not heard that name in a hot minute.
  25. RWeeksFan23
Pratt is a light hitting righty that had average minor league stats. Sal could have easily had a hit there but was robbed.
