Pratt is a light hitting righty that had average minor league stats. Sal could have easily had a hit there but was robbed.

yeah but starting Sanchez at catcher and Contreras at DH would have given him a rest behind home plate but still a way to get his bat in the lineup.

i'm all for giving Contreras a day off here and there, but it's odd it's coming vs a LHP. I'd rather start him today than Yelich.

yeah, i was actually kind of happy in the off-season when they gave Bregman that big contract. Pretty average player, and minimal upgrade over Shaw. They needed pitching much more than a minimal 3B upgrade.
